winter, pig, lowko and in depth are ok and beastyqt overreacted to the infestor part

while all somewhat useful streamers agreed the observer change is plain stupid xD

A few pro’s response on twitter:
Serral: Would it be possible to make 10 range lurkers work against mech? I doubt its any good against bio/tank. I was mainly thinking of countering thors.

ShoWTimE: The oracle better not end up the way it was last time when they fixed it because that was terrible. Also the adept upgrade seems kinda useless/silly. By the time you have the upgrade terran would already have emp and vs zerg you would still never make them as part of your army composition.

uThermal: Life would be better without infestors

Mana: Looking forward to testing the new post-blizzcon balance changes. There is a lot of them and I hope we will move into the direction of less mass-air compositions.

DnS: I wonder why blizzard even organise balance meetings with pro players if they end up doing the exact opposite of what we suggest in the end lol.
These balance changes are terrible. The only people that are happy with them are again Zerg players.
Promoting more free units, buffing Infestors further by giving them free neural and 10 range Lurkers vs Protoss on hive. F for Protoss players that got screwed over again.

I decided to take a view at Artosis/NoRegret’s point of view being the most prominent here… and gosh NoRegret’s pretty much like - Terran buffs? Too much of this and that (Medivac and Viking). Infestors? Bad nerf

So balance has to be when one judges from the bias of all, cause the bias never goes away

Adepts after upgrade are really good vs Bio and they wreck hydralisk based comps which are going to be popular because of the Lurker changes.

DnS hasn’t been able to preform good for years and also he clearly hasn’t tested the changes at all.

That’s why he does it with Artosis.

And Pylon show was gonna be all Protosses. Maybe they need a show with 1 per each race

I felt Artosis’s frustration at points. NoRegret was basically being Avilo lite at points…like how about you stop whinging long enough to hear what Artosis, someone who’s vastly more knowledgeable has to say?

I think Artosis was mostly right and articulated well. I think that he could be wrong about IT in certain situations. The doubled damage output might be a problem vs starport or stargate timings.

Yea, I think the damage density makes it a buff kind of because hardly at any times do you see all the infestors shooting at once and they are slow. I think it does make it so that going infestors too early could be worse but not with Neural automatic which is ridiculous imo.

I get it somewhat, the balancing act in TvZ is hard, just a bit ago it seemed terran favored and they could do whatever they wanted while zerg tried to defend everything but…eh. I think banelings need nerfed radius, roaches need nerfed a tad, the overseer buff and stuff like that would be kind of ways to compensate i guess…the nydus change is good i think maybe a bit too much of a nerf…yeah…

Protoss…mm, i like the buffs/changes, not really the nerfs. The zealot change is okay imo and fine to try to implement and balance…but I would like for them to come up with some more changes maybe, maybe nerf immortals but make them 200 minerals again…do the disruptor option thing, like having two different modes, that’d be cool, mm, I was hoping the void ray would get a more real buff I think its still too expensive and not good enough of a unit to mass. Yeah they’re strong if high enough number and upgraded of course, but they should be, cost alot! I dont want them too good though of course lol for PvP’s sake mainly…protoss ground to air, pretty sucky kinda but whatev, its been like that. Expensive units that are more specialized (archons vs light stalkers vs armored, unless like fighting void rays lol). Not bad units but def. have weakness (dps for stalkers, range and move speed against air for archons)…not really a good reason lol. I think they could buff some of the build times slightly for our good units if they want to keeping nerfing stuff, at the least…decrease cost of shield upgrades as well, would be nice but…doubtful…buff late game SG units damage a tad wee bit as well. I mean…our good stuff is supposed to be good if they want to always keep gateway units somewhat weak…but like…carriers and tempests really aren’t all that scary if your playing T or Z with such good units and ground to air damage (Z, ok, not op but not that weak in this area imo, Queens OP and hydras are solid and quite good in PvZ, more than just anti-air! thats for sure and require splash dmg).
