Nothing really, its time is over so no need of subscriptions. I only don’t get the die hards, like go out try some other game etc.
The majority of games played are by low-activity players. Sc2 does have a strong dedicated player base, but these die-hards aren’t what is keeping sc2 alive. SC2 has a yearly oscillation. It goes down, drastically, during the winter/spring months and it goes up during summer. It’s pretty much an inverse of the schooling schedule for western countries.
Dont take those guys serious. 
They are just terrans that hate on everything here, that is not a buff for terran or a nerf for the rest.
But its fun to read how furious some of them are about the patch.
