Did anyone manage to beat brutal as Abathur on prestige at lvl 1? I’ve tried it countless times but it just cant be done. It feels like Abathur is nothing without his brutalisk or levianthan.
Level 1 Abathur doesn’t have the additional biomass talent.

No need to play brutal every game if you use warchest you need 13 brutal game for max 1-15
or 1 hard game and 12 brutal game result the same
So there no point to start level 1 at brutal when you can easily get to lvl 3 with hard and gain power spike at lvl 2+3 for abathur

Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
Nothing wrong with starting level 1 on normal or hard difficulty and working your way up.
probably depends on the enemy comp and the map.
I mean, you have those super buffed ravagers with at least one of its upgrades that can wreck havoc nonetheless.
its hard to gain biomass because those nests are not cloaked and you need, like i said, a good enemy comp that gets you enough biomass
@Diavel; the nests are actually cloaked… its just brutal tends to bring detectors with them.
its level… 3? 4? that makes them invulnerable once placed.
You can farm a prestige commander while having the default commander arsenal. For abathur, imo, except P2 on certain map, every other prestige sucks.
Did anyone, yes. That’s entirely dependent on how you approach it. If you go in random queue, then there will be a chance you match with someone who can’t even handle themselves.
Carrying an entire brutal game as level 1 Abby is going to be tough.
im not sure, maybe there also was a bug on the ptr but the first waves already saw and destroyed them and the first waves usually dont bring detectors…
it was quite annoying to get it going on lvl 1, tho once ravagers had a bit bio and were enough it was a cake.
Tried it and it turned out alright, ravager/air based on enemy comp with a roach rush start. Just need to be efficient about engagements (bile and run for example). That said, particular composition and map combination might make some unlucky fellas have a bad time.
