I recently got back to Starcraft 2, and was going to play the campaigns . So, I was very excited to play the mod Mass Recall , only to my surprise, the cutscenes are not working anymore. Its not fair to penalize all users for some people that do wrong things, and since this problem is going on for a very long time, I would like to ask Blizzard to fix it, and not punish the casual players that have nothing to do with wrongs of others. Also, if theres a way to downgrade to version 5.0.14.93333 , when it was working , it would be very appreciated. Thank you

ok first off if your playing campaign cutscenes are not disabled only in custom and arcade, secondly no you cannot downgrade. So for cut sceenses in campaign check your resolution, and and screne settings are set with your comps settings.
Thanks for your reply. To be clear, I was going to play the campaign for SC2, and wanted to play SC1 and BroadWar first, when I heard of the mod Mass Recall. So, if, its working on SC2 campaign , and not on the mod, its very frustrating. The option to downgrade would be great to go around the problem, since the previous version was working, thats why I asked. I just think its not fair, since the decision to stop cutscenes has to do with some people uploading things that are not considered adequate by Blizzard. I am not responsible for that, nor most people who just want enjoy the history and lore of Starcraft. Again, thanks for taking the time to reply.
“First off,” WinterKnight, you are consistently incorrect when it comes to matters pertaining to the editor. Please go back to borderline trolling in General Discussion instead of spouting literal BS wherever you go.
That being said, as per usual, you are incorrect. The ability to play videos was COMPLETELY disabled, by Blizzard, by changing the code pertaining to the relevant trigger actions such that it was “whitelisted.” (Only enabled on Blizzard maps).
This means that ANY time a video will play, anywhere: (customs, arcade, offline), it simply will not.

One can safely ignore WinterKnight’s “knowledge” and their day will be better for it. In this case, he is incorrect. You cannot “downgrade” to a version where the videos will play, easily, unfortunately.

dude i can go into campaign right now and watch all cinematics, video is only dissabled for custom and arcade, you yourself dont know what your talking about or didnt bother to read the ops post or mine, and for that should step aside

For which the cinematics are enabled…? Mass Recall isn’t on the Custom Campaigns menu. It’s offline. Mass Recall isn’t made by Blizzard.
again dude, op posted about vids in campaign in first post, which if hes not seeing vids, that means hes got screen res problems or vid card probs. his second post he went further into detail stating about custom mods, i only replied to first post, so if ops first post didnt have enough info thats on him not me. and as i stated in my post custom and arcade are disabled. get your head straight before you try attacking me when i correctly replied to the post

as i stated in my first post if hes talking about ARCADE AND CUSTOM they are DISABLED, ffs get your heads out you behinds and stop trying to attack me, i answered the dudes question accordingly if you all dont like it add more context, other wise eat it.
WinterKnight we are pointing out that it is not JUST arcade and Custom that’s affected bliz has blocked external media from playing inside SC2’s engine due to bad actors encoding malicious code into user made cutscenes.
also Mass Recall is a CurseForge mod meaning you cant launch it via arcade. bliz pushed a security update that broke a few mods end of story…
