Im making one of these posts as well. The patch is just garbage. It feels horrible to play. Many of the builds and styles that were playable in the last patch are just gone. Build diversity has collapsed. Friends of mine who have played the game for decades are leaving. It has failed on every metric. Please revert.

Patch 5.0.16 is a complete disaster. This is a patch NOBODY asked for, and it has done nothing but damage the current meta, ruin tournaments, and make the game ridiculously frustrating and practically unplayable.
The fact that players have gone as far as creating a MOD just to play a more playable version of the game should tell you everything you need to know.
Why are we being forced to play a patch that has made the competitive experience objectively worse? This is not what the community asked for, and it is not an improvement.
REVERT 5.0.16.
BRING BACK 5.0.15.
STOP RUINING THE GAME.

We didnt start playing with sc2. We started playing in school with sc1. Yes its been decades.

I first sent my Zerglings to eat Protoss probes back in 1998. Now it’s 2026—almost three decades later.
And even though I play Zerg, please revert this patch ASAP!
no, its not, sc1 and sc2 are two different games. and very different from one to another. you can not say you been playing sc2 for decades, its only been around 15 years. facts dude.
secondly your talking in regards to the game in its current patch, meaning adding sc1 play history to say to decades dont work when your specifically talking about sc2

Bro piss off. I said we have been playing the game. I never specified SC2. Its pretty clear I meant the franchise of starcraft as a whole. I have friends who have been playing in this franchise since the early 2000s. And now they are leaving.
Thats 26 years of dedicated play. If these types of people are leaving then we have a serious problem and no grammer n@zi is going to tell me otherwise.
