It is absolutely possible for one player with insufficient hardware to drastically slow down a multiplayer game of SC2 for everyone. I don’t know why you have to argue semantics

Both those statements are true. One discusses actual lag. The other discusses an in game system that deals with a player that has disconnected from the server from other players that are not lagging. The two are different. I can’t explain that any more clearly, but maybe I can find a grade school teacher to break it down for you.
I’m enjoying my week off to watch SGDQ 2020. I had intended to go in person to volunteer but with the epidemic they cancelled the physical portion of the event so I’m volunteering remotely with the other staff and volunteer members leaving me with free time. Again, it’s okay; jealousy can make you misrepresent comments and take them out of context so you can act like you’re right. I’d forgive you but you need to forgive yourself first so you can grow.

So that’s why 1 player with a bad connection slows down all of World of Warcraft for every player? Oh wait, it doesn’t.
Starcraft is not WoW. When a player is lagging in Starcraft, the game waits for them which results in everyone lagging. Why do I have to explain this to you? Stop trolling in this thread.
The countdown is fine but they should at least remove it for watching replays.
I agree. it helps honestly. the jump start from loading screen to finding where your mouse cursor is when the game starts was a nightmare. This makes this worlds better.
Not to mention it looks professional. And in a competitive game with a pro scene this gets high marks. It stays.
