In my ingame settings I have the soundtrack set to “StarCraft / Brood War” which should only play titles of the old games but in my game there is SC2 music played most of the time.
Tried unsetting the option and setting it again and restarting but it does not work.
Hello everyone - same issue here.
No matter what I select, mute, continuous/single play, all tracks, only SC1, etc… only the SC2 music is playing, and even worse, on my recent mission 19 “Schlund der Leere” (the one where to destroy the Protoss Desintegration generators), only one SC2 track was repeating again and again - super annoying.
Edit: Just tried the same with one of the 4 protoss missions in the WOL-campaing, same issue.

That music setting doesn’t apply to the campaign. All the campaign missions use preset music that is specifically selected for each mission.
However, you can use it in most of the other modes. Coop is hit or miss because sometimes there is preset music used there too.

Hadn’t been aware about that. Allright, then nothing to worry about.
(Again, at least for missions like Terran #19 more variation could be added. It really felt like broken, as only one title was playing again and again, unaffected by any events. Just as recommendation.)
