It directed me right back to battlenet forums. TFW you should have gone by the release date in 'Murica…

And who made PiG the balance expert that he should be qualified to create such a test? I guarantee I could make a test filled with extremely obscure SC2 facts that not even Maru and Rogue could answer. Likewise I could create a test that these forums could ace (LOL). It wouldn’t mean that Maru/Rogue are morons nor would it mean that forum troglodytes are experts.

Great care has to be taken to properly design, test, and administer tests. You have to generate a list of various randomized questions. You have to apply the test in a consistent manner to a large group of randomly selected people (robust enough to represent the whole player base). You’d then need to modify the test to maximize the variance (deleting questions everyone gets right and questions everyone gets wrong) and ideally to get a properly normalized distribution of scores.

And if any part of this fails (which it likely will) you have to go back and start over again. It takes lots of time and money to develop proper tests, and if you don’t go through this process your test is basically a joke. It’s a “these are things that I, the test creator, am familiar with and which almost certainly don’t represent the broader population but rather measure how close someone is to me, myself and I, the test creator” test.

Here’s a good example of how you can’t trust the garbage packed into videos these days. Just because some clowns can talk into a camera and use video editing software doesn’t mean they’re right about anything. In fact they’re probably wrong about most things because they spend their life becoming an expert on talking to cameras rather than being an expert on useful subjects.

Assumption: the duration of species is normally distributed (almost certainly false - they are exponentially distributed).
Assumption: Humans have a 95% chance of being within 3 standard deviations of the mean age of the human race.

Translation: We can punch in literally any numbers we want and get any answer we want yay!

You can assume that something is wrong given the fact that ultimately every theory is proven wrong (incomplete) eventually. Einstein is no different. Having infinite gravity wells is a problem with the math, not a property of the real universe in the same fashion infinite velocity right-corners don’t exist in water pipes but do in the Navier-Stokes equations.

The biggest hoax of the modern world is the sleight of hand scientists and mathematicians have used to convince people that their formulas represent real properties of the universe. They don’t. They are only very strong statistical predictors and nothing else.

Given enough data all theories are ultimately invalid.

Take a look at the test it’s just a troll chill DUDE

I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s something really really wrong with PiG. I think I might know, but I’d be banned for hate speech, but even that might not be it.

More greedy streamers only talking about money. Always has to be some money aspect. Some way to make money.

Well, it’s their job, when you go to a job interview, do you talk about salary or do you just want to work for free?.

Maybe I’m wrong, but the impression I have is that he acts to look like a happy nice guy but outside the camera is not that happy or nice, and sometimes I sensed some kind of ‘‘smug’’ aura aroudn him, you see other streamers and they feel more natural.

Yeah i really think its just a late april fools joke lol

He was know for being a BM rager for the short time that we was a pro Zerg player.

That might be it, inflated egos set me off really badly.

Getting fined by PiG for banalance posting without a license.

Pretty sure it was made as a joke. Now the regular forum clown is here to throw around a bunch of big words in hopes that something will stick. Next thing you know there will be an alt account making fun of Pig and then he will have to come onto the forums and say the troll account is not him…
