Screen freezes during large engagements and you are eventually dropped from game, network connection is fine. This is direct result of that last terrible patch. Game was perfect and now its completely broken.
2017 fully loaded iMac all settings always Ultra. Game crashed on LOWEST gfx settings also.
PLEASE FIX THIS AND TEST FUTURE PATCHES BETTER.

I’m experiencing the same thing. I get a black screen with just a hint of game sound and then I need to restart my computer. Terrible for people that want play Starcraft on Mac. I have a brand new iMac BTW. Has anyone filed a bug?

you could install windows on it and run dual systems. then you can run starcraft 2 in windows.

random crashes during the gameplay, internet connection is fine becuase on skype i can still talk. game freezes, cannot force quit or anything, just able hear the sound and skype. need to hard reset computer.
reinstalling the game and cleaning all caches did not help. lowering graphic settings also not.

Blizzard told me that my computer was throttling and to contact Apple! Yeah, right! I even increased my memory in my new iMac and still this is a big problem. Maybe if enough of us file a bug report:

Exactly the same thing happening to me. I might be able to play a game or two, but it will freeze mid-game, sometimes I get a hint of sound, sometimes not, and I eventually have to turn off my computer.
I was able to get a crash report last night when it eventually snapped out of it, and booted me out of the SC program, but this is a rare occasion. I’ll place it at the bottom of this post.
I went so far as to completely reset my computer back to factory settings, reinstalled Mojave 10.14.6, and StarCraft 2, and it’s still crashing just as often! Please note, I only ever run the game at medium settings for less distractions.
