Nvidia / Digital Vibrance Issue in game

Hey guys, so, I just upgraded my motherboard/processor to an i9 for Starcraft 2. I kind of needed it.

The thing is however, when I try to run in Full-Screen mode now as opposed to before (when I would run in windowed mode), my nvidia color changes don’t stay set. It goes back to old n’ ugry.

Any ideas?

When I run in Windowed mode, things look amazing. The game looks more 3d and the colors are awesome. (I change Brightness Contrast, Gamma, the works… but my FPS gets capped at 60 FPS and I can’t go buy a new monitor right now.

Any ideas?

nvidia control might interfere with settings, or that godawfull experience thingie, not sure if switching from windowed to fullscreen changes some grafix parameters ingame, you might check in client aswell

I actually fixed it. Well, either that or initially my settings were not changed enough to notice - but get this…

Color Profile Keeper will lock your color profile so it can’t get changed. I watched some European guy on YouTube for how to do it. I am pretty sure that is what fixed it. Stop Games Resetting your Display Settings! - Tech Tips - YouTube

As for the FPS issue I was having (it was stuck at 60 FPS). Window’d mode was not what was keeping me at 60 FPS. Vertical Sync was under Graphics in options.

I can easily understand why vertical sync could dramatically lower your FPS, but I don’t know why it would cap me at 60 FPS exactly… I mean, my highest frame rate is 120-140 I think. The hz of my monitor is 60. To take a huge cut in half seems a little bit much.

I could try setting my nvidia settings even lower while leaving it on to see – but I’m not going to. >_<.

Thanks for reading / helping / trying to help out!

See you guys on ladder.
