recently i invented a new build order of making ravens in tvp, they are very imba and VERY cost effective. pro players do not realize that even though they are expensive they are still cost effective, but with proper micro ravens can be very op and allow you to build pfs instead of orbital commands
but in short ravens are actually overpowered because they give free +3 attack even and can also use other spells like disable and the GOD LIKE auto turret. this unit is imba and just because pro players dont know how to abuse them doesnt mean they arent op.

In two base pushes raves is probably a unit that always will be useful, less armor, free obs sniping,harass, supporting with turret and the chance of disabling mechanical units and even archons.
Asuming perfec micro the raven is a unit that always should be done against P because it can save a lot of scans, but that’s the theory, in a real game the micro can be tricky and the raven can be sniped. i don’t think it’s overpowered, is a strong unit and kinda underused.

People very often open with ravens. But people stop producing after the first one to get their bio upgrades so they can continue mass producing MMM until someone dies. That’s just how it is.
no look at my replay i kept making them and it worked for me in the late game. i went up to like 20 + ravens to go with my army.
