I’m assuming this patch bug-fixes a lot of the issues that are on ladder currently; but I can’t find anything. Anyone have any ideas what they might be (cyclone bug fixes, map bugfixes etc) or any ideas where we might find the patch notes?
Unfortunately they only release patch notes for the major patch notes (they don’t do patch notes that are just fixing their mistakes).
Edit: At least they don’t release the notes at the typical places, although maybe they exist somewhere, I’ve just never been able to find them

I’m sure some of the players on Reddit and some of the Twitch content creators will be testing the previous bugs out right away to see where things stand.
It must be some maintenance thing. I opened a new extension mod based on the multiplayer mod, to check and the bugged behavior still has the bugged duration.
Yeah, we just checked too, that’s irritating.
Someone on reddit just mentioned that the mothership had a range adjustment. But they forgot the cyclone? Whoops…
Juggernaut Jason just tried it on stream. The cyclone is fixed now.

It lookks like there was a delay in the update. Like it had the bugged numbers after the patch was released but then it got fixed.
That’s good they fixed the prolific, ladder-breaking problem. Probably should have emergency patched it though…
I will check that again later, but when I last looked it seemed like it still had the wrong number.

I would recommend going by the editor, considering it isn’t easy to eyeball this stuff.
I hope they don’t change the cyclone. The cyclone is free mmr for zerg so the more terrans spamming cyclones the better.
They will probably fix the 25% attack speed bug, but otherwise leave the Cyclone unchanged.
While 25% extra DPS is a lot, my guess is that the main reason why players are struggling is just that it has been so long since this iteration of the Cyclone was on the ladder.
The Tech Lab/kiting Cyclone is a unit that often requires some specific responses (Fungal, Graviton Beam, Flanks, pre-sieged Tanks, Interference Matrix, well-controlled Blinks, pulling targets back, etc). Cyclones previously dealt 20 (+20 v. armored) at some point instead of a flat 30 (i.e. 33% more damage rather than 25% more), and yet they were still countered by a number of armored units using proper tactics.
The cyclone bug has been fixed 400 damage now
It’s super lame. PvZ is now balanced so it’s not fun anymore. Was hoping tvz would become imbalanced to keep things interesting.
I’m just happy to see the hotfix, I was getting worried there.
Weird, I don’t see the fix in the editor, but maybe opening the editor does not automatically pull that update.
Yeah, PiG is saying it’s fixed right now too. Not sure what’s going on. Apparently a few other bugs were fixed as well?
