Three months ago is ages ago. Wth are you talking about? I’ve gained 200 mmr since then. If you know what I type like you see me on literally everyone streaming this game every day. Def ain’t any of those accounts you mentioned though. lol
12 years and seemingly experienced players don’t know how to scout or stop a proxy hatch/cannon rush.
Both have been and will continue to be a part of the game. Try watching the replays and focusing on the things you can control. I guarantee you that 99/100 times you’ll find something you could’ve done better.
That’s not really the point, the point is that I would use the strategy myself if I didn’t know that the general playerbase will hate me for it. You can make all the excuses you want.
So by your logic, they should remove things from the game because you aren’t willing to put forth the effort to learn how to stop them ?

9th october to now is really not 3 months. Its 1 month and 17 days. Which i wouldnt call ages. Ages in terms of sc2 would be 1 year in my opinion.
Cool. So that still wouldnt be 4.8k then. And 4.8k is still “fake” gm since even if you manage to get gm in early season because you are the first to hit 30 matches then still nobody cares because you cannot pull through the whole season with your 4.8k. You need like 5.2k (and that would still be considered fake gm by OG players because it was rather like 5.5k back in the old days.).

You know it was laughable when people used to propose 2 ladders, one for: pros, semi-pros, and very high level skill , and the second for everyone else.
Of course with 2 different balance patches for the 2 separate ladders.
Now when you look how bad is the ladder because of balance, cheese, 1 base all ins (tvts are so boring, either reaper all in, or tanks, some vikings, 1-2 libs all in, every every game), smurfs ets. It is beyond terrible, and at this point, this could be the only solution until the SC2 just dies (it sounds crazy but it is kinda true).

Basically 95% of players who are up to diam, suck at defending cheese.
There are 3 big problems here:

That is hell of a lot of players.

They rarely get the chance to play and learn the game normally.

Most of them give up ( why I need to put 10 times the effort, speed, micro than my opponent. to defend canon rushes and stupid cheeses, when I can play something else), and that is one the important reasons why SC2 is dying.

What are you on? Protoss never wins tournaments. If you look at it, the most tournaments have been won by zerg, then terran, then protoss
Who’s fault is that? if the protoss pro players are not good enough, than why they should buff the race?
The best protoss at the moment is Hero, and he plays sloppy most games, he is not on the same level of Maru, Serral, Clem or Reynor. I am not saying he is bad, of course not, but he is not on the same level at least when it comes to execution or decision making, or sometimes even speed.
Also simply put Hero makes more mistakes, compared to those 4 who play close to perfect.
It has nothing to do with the race.
But still he gets decent positions in tournaments, if he played on the same level he would win tournaments.
I am so tired of these toss buff beggars, even when they got 3 buffs on void, they said: ohh that is not enough, we need tournament wins.
