New changes are disappointing

BC ‘nerf’ to tactical jump now is the unit has a little animation where it lights up before it runs away. Is this a nerf or a warchest skin?

Infestor = completely gutted. Super weak version of dark swarm. Maybe its supposed to help vs liberators and carriers but that’s not the problem. When terran gets enough tanks or toss gets enough immortal archon there is literally no way to engage without infestor broodlord. Range buff to lurker does nothing. Nydus got gutted already, then you dug up its grave and gutted it more.

Now lategame is just gifted to P/T on a silver platter, while zerg is still the punching bag race, only scouting overlord upgrade is more expensive now. And lets throw in a random nerf to creep tumor just for giggles.

The change to adept is crazy. You are basically giving them free stim after each shade.

It’s the one second vulnerability for Battlecruisers before they teleport. I’m not sure what the problem is?

I don’t see what exactly Infested Terrans would do against tanks or Immortal Archons anyway, so what is the problem of swapping them for Microbial Shroud? Unless you’re claiming that Infested Terrans are vital to countering tanks (don’t they get massacred by tanks?) and Immortal Archons (if they have “enough” Immortal Archons, your Infested Terrans are going to die to splash anyway), I don’t understand why the Infestor has been “completely gutted”. And Nydus has been quite a big problem, especially if you’ve watched GSL, so it’s rightly nerfed.

When terran gets enough tanks you get viper, you beat his timing then he will most likely only use them for def
You get broodlord and that just makes any tank push obsolete so wtf are you talking about

One second is nothing. Especially now that the BC is invulnerable to abduct/NP/IM when teleporting. You need broodlords to engage the deathball, but not BL range is gutted. Infestors helped kill enemy air units (something the new fake dark swarm can’t do), and even though their ground attack was terrible you can use them to block pathing.

Nydus is not a problem it is just showing P/T lack of multitasking skill.

Infestor is getting completely gutted.

NP range nerf while teasing upgrade removal then bait-and-switch.
NP no longer works on mothership.
IT removed with useless ability that you have to upgrade at Hive tech, and that you can’t cast burrowed.

Legacy of the pointless hive upgrades…

Just brood lords is more than enough. But in any case, do you actually use infested terran against Immortal/archon? The only infestor spell useful against that is neural, which is still there and still comfortably outranges Immortals.

Good, considering that pro level Zergs have used lurkers to crush immortal/archon and probably the only reason they don’t do it more is because BL infestor is broken, so why do anything else.

Plus, you forget the new lurker buff they just added. The new infestor spell obviously synergises with Lurkers far better than any other unit Zerg has. Past 12, hive Lurkers already eliminate ground as a possibility in ZvP, this means that you also have decent cover against air for your hydra/lurker army.

Instead of a permanent stim… zerglings now HARD COUNTER glaived adepts because they are the best unit for chasing them down and forcing them to fight when they don’t have the attack speed bonus and lose harder than medivacless-marauders against lings.

Honestly, they may as well have just removed adepts from the game.

I believe you mean “I don’t get lategame gifted to me for free as a Zerg, I might actually have to try past the 15 minute mark”. Zerg is OP, and is getting nerfed. Deal with it.

No. It’s stupid because they get a overall nerf (45% —> 21.6667% attack speed increase)

Shouldn’t it be 32.7%? Since it’s a 6 second buff and has an 11 second coodown?

Wow. I wish my race would one day win with 5 different players dominating literally every Premier tournament and win 60% of them. That would totally be fair.

Yes but the cool down keeps running while the shade is out.

The real problem is that the opponent should never let adepts fight with that attack speed boost up, so it should be meaningless. Because the problem is that Protoss is FORCED to always finish the shade.

Yeah cause there’s only 5/8 zergs in the round of 8 at blizzcon. Gotta be 8 next year.

Zerg lategame is not OP but even if it was the way to fix it is to make 1 or 2 MODERATE changes. This set of changes is too drastic with too many at once.
