Neural Parasite

Please make this ability channeled like the ghost snipe. So the ability can be interrupted. As it stands now this ability can turn a 6 supply unit against you while it is burrowed. Now only does it do NP’d unit can do DPS to ur army it also messes up your units AI and forces u to attack your own units.

I watched Inno lose the mech game vs Reynor when he got neuraled by 6 infestor, this patch changed nothing

How could you make np more “channeled” than now?

That only happens with the carrier and that is what the unit also does to your opponent (is the “function” of the carrier)

Meanwhile you can cancel snipe wich takes 1,5 secconds to even land by tickling the ghost, seems fair.

Canceling the np means killing the infestor… Wouldn’t that be better than simply canceling the skill?

Not really, since killing a unit takes more damage than simply canceling ghosts.

For example a single fungal on a ghost cancels snipe but does not kill it, so if snipe was not canceled on damage it would be ALOT stronger and possibly borderline op or actually usefull (but it will probably never be tested).

But… the unit is dead. That’s good, for that one attacks units also not as if the infestor is very tank or cheap. Let’s see if I understand, do you want the ability to be channeled for 1.5s and can be canceled hurting the infestor but then the infestor doesn’t have to continue channeling after?

No, im just argueing that dealing damage to ghosts to cancel snipe is easier than killing a ghost to cancel snipe because it takes less damage meaning you can use a wider source of said damage also its less of a commitment to just cancel snipe over killing the ghost.

difference is most likely, the unit is youre targeting is dead after 1,5sec.
with np… not so much.

It takes 2 snipes to kill most units worth targetting with snipe outside infestors and vipers wich both can cancel snipe by casting a spell back at them that is faster.
Np is stronger since it gives you controll of the other unit so youre usually trading a 2 supply infestor for a 6 supply or even 4 supply unit that also tanks damage for your army so its extremely efficient to a level that is unmatched in sc2.

Zergs do not even need neural anymore, fungal/corruptor/viper is enough to win any sky composition from any race.

You have proven to have brain dead posts here, just robotic mechanical devoid of thought repetitive like a broken recorder posts. While it can be so partially, we saw the difference trying to win with hydra bane as Serral tried (what was prevously known to be Zerg meta) and with BL infestor. Clearly the BL infestor combination brought Z a lot more wins.
