Let Adepts shoot air
Reduce Chargelot speed, add back +8 damage but make it 2(+2) so it scales to 8 at 3 ground attack upgrades
Stalkers could use a 2nd air-only attack that’s anti armor and has +1 range.
The Adept change will barely matter outside of panic responses to Banshees and Mutas (both which are going to become more prevalent)
The chargelot change stops them from being super zerglings and gives gateway compositions some teeth. We already had this in the past but stronger and outside of the warp prism 8 gate all-in it worked out (and that was the fault of the at the time, unnerfed warp prism finding a backdoor foothold in the main).
Stalkers are kinda hard to buff without problems happening though because of blink, best I can think of is what I suggested since that won’t really break any interactions and won’t overlap too much with Adepts shooting air.

So you think that a nerf to optional tech units justifies a buff to fundamental early-game units…
Protoss is already the dominating race and you want to buff their T1 units lmao

Yeah lets buff T1 units and make Protoss 2 gate proxys even better. Also lets give Protoss another anti-air to make Mutas even worse in ZvP! And last but not least lets buff Zealot attack so that 4 gate zealot proxys are even better in PvZ and PvT!
No offense to you but this is such a bad idea.
You gonna stop freaking out and name what’s actually the problem here? Or are you gonna go back to reddit and piss your pants at the mention of a gateway unit buff in general?
Adepts have insanely low range. Just don’t attack the Adepts with Mutas. It’s the same thing with Archons but Archons are so prohibitly expensive, fat and slow that mutas can largely play around them by using Protoss sim city against them.
Protoss has the best early game, with workers that aren’t attached to building structures, + they start out with their macro ability, so any buff to gateway units seems stupid.
No they don’t lol. Why do you think Protoss was given shield batteries, the MSC, Pylon Overcharge and now Energy Recharge?
The only time Protoss early game is good is when you’re down in the dumps fighting bad opponents who don’t know how to play the game yet.
It’s basic game theory. Protoss has way more options and flexibility in the early-game. If anything their starting options need a nerf, lol
What? lol. I don’t know who’s opinion you’re parroting but it’s wrong. Flat out wrong, no discussion to be had wrong.

Thanks for the interesting counter-argument.
Well what do you want me to say here?
Protoss has gateways and warp gates early game and MAAAAAYBE a SG or Robo with 1 immo or 1 oracle.
Templar Archives comes out after TC, it’s a mid game tech so I don’t count warping in Storms as early game.
Protoss might have the ability to scale up their macro insanely fast, which is totally valid to point out but probes aren’t exactly great combat units.
That’s not what I consider early-game.
That makes things even more confusing then. If you go earlier than that then we’re talking about cannon rushing and proxy gate stuff.
Later and we start talking about Storms, Disruptors, etc which is 100% not early game.
Exactly. Cannons, Zealots and expansions can be used in a million ways.
Yeah then there’s no point in talking about this with you. You’re talking about cheese and macro openings.
The reason that Protoss dominates the ladder at least, which is 99% of the playerbase.
You’re not helping your case here lol.
So most people pick Protoss because of their abusable early game, and you want to buff it more? I don’t exactly need to argue much.
“Most” people pick Protoss because of ease of use. You don’t have to macro like a god like Zerg does and you don’t have to shift click deploy/siege while you stutter step and split your bio.
They are in general, the easiest race to play in terms of interfacing with the units.
Now I can say that you aren’t helping your argument much lol
