i cant stand this stypid unit that ruins literally everything. you cant just kill interceptors either they spawn infinitely…
yes it ruins eveything we need more nerfs on protoss so they have problems making it past the RO24 your right! down with protoss should only be zerg and terran in the GSL!
i dont care about single player… talking about 2v2 here… in 2v2 its too easy to make carriers because it takes time to defeat otherplayer… then other has time to finish make 6-8 carriers and it wreck everything
I hate to break it to you but team games are an after thought for StarCraft 2. Primarily because there’s no way to balance team games and 1vs1 while keeping the same unit stats for both modes.
Late game carriers in team games is obnoxious - but there are answers.
Widow Mines delete clouds of interceptors. It’s pretty funny. Lure the interceptors out with a few units into a mine field or make a bait turret (which also helps with the observer).
Liberator anti air attack also works.
If you’re Protoss…well, that’s just late game PvP for you; mass carriers or mass void rays. That’s it. PvP suuuucks lol.
As Zerg, you should have more bases than the Protoss so making a ton of corrupters and focus firing should work. If not, then you have to spread the corrupters to dodge the Archons and still focus fire. You can also use Vipers + Hydralisks/Queens and abduct Carriers into your army.

in war 3 it was possible, i dont see that much of a difference for sc2…
I have two options for you: have a dedicated balance team testers, who acquire information from data of both game modes, and also play both game modes themselfs. this way they propably get most unbiazed data (not them favouring any races tho).
its possible to balance 1v1 and 2v2 propably if you make slight compromises baced on data from each game types… lets say carriers are winning unit in 90% of the 2v2 games… then nerf it… okay so lets say its saving unit in 1v1 and not winning unit most often… then compensate it with something else that doesnt work in 2v2 so good…
also if you cant make 2v2 balanced why not just remove it completely? every 2v2 player could instanly leave this game to find - balanced 2v2 experience - from other games… giving promise to have blizzard quality 2v2 but it seems its not being fulfill…
Dunno what to say man, I gave you solutions and explained why the game isn’t balanced around team games.
