I do not miss the predecessor Vortex to be honest, when your maxed out army would all go into that and get wiped by 5 or 6 archons xD But I feel the Time Warp we got is way too lame and Protoss players seem to agree with me since they never use this ability anwyays…
Change to what precisely? It mostly helps to cover your retreat or take on a fortified position.
What if we just bring back the Planet Cracker ability.

I’m going to argue that a mothership with Black Hole, Time Bomb and Planet Cracker is not fun to fight against, especially because the mothership is usually complimented by carriers and tempest… Carriers and tempest are already insanely strong so I would implore something non damaging and of a supportive nature.
I’m a full Mothership user, using its entire abilities even Mass Recall.
In my experience, Time Warp still feels a bit underpowered.
I mostly play 4v4 games. Helps a lot in High DPS units but at the same time doesen’t guarantee a secured win. Time Warp at its current stage adds a huge value against Mass Void Rays, Mass Carriers and Mass BCs.
Have you tried using it? In my 4v4 experience I rarely see someone utilizing its potential. Even my the players I was into doesen’t even use it.
I felt its still underpowered especially having 1 Mothership at a time.
- I would like Time Warp to get a buff for example, instead of a total 2 seconds delay, in that 2 seconds it slows down movement speed only from 0% to the fully 50%. Then it functions the same as now on how it works after the 2 seconds movement speed and attack speed gets slowed down by 50%. This change is for making units escape it harder especially fast units while not making it too powerful since it grows from 0% to 50% in that 2 seconds which means its still very possible to avoid it while making it possible to get some units get caught in it.
- Increase Time Warp effect duration by 1 second, from 7 seconds to 8 seconds. This will make it more effective in the long term while not instantly making it too powerful.
I think these 2 above propose changes will be good while not making it entirely too powerful and broken.
- Optional, increase casting range by 0.5 or 1, from 9 to 9.5 or 10. I feel the casting range needs a slight increase to further amplify its potential zoning potential.
