Every 60 second for one 3.5 range slow zone that only reduce 33%? Who would build that?
How would additional 2 sec of guardian shield make sentry more useful in any senecio?
Tempest need more damage or more speed. Acceleration is the least important part to be improved.

50%, not 33%. This is a multiplication by a factor of 0.5, cutting DPS in half, not a division by 1.5.
I am legitimately confused where you are getting this from. Edit: Found the patch notes. Most of them are a mix between buffs and debuffs to change the way that units operate.
I am completely at a loss as to how these changes, especially to the Mothership make sense. This has to be the weirdest balance patch in the history of the game lol

Pretty sure everyone has read these terrible changes. The only thing worthwhile is the nerf to the ghost, everything else needs to be trashed.
Its impressed how they always find the least effective way. Its like they don’t really want to make the changes, they just acting like they were doing something
Yea, feel like they were heading to a weird direction. Instead of nerfing certain build, buffing or adding potential is apparently more interesting, especially when we only get one patch a year.

The changes are not too far off from the Raven changes that were made recently, nerfing the power of individual spells to justify a lower cost for the caster.
To be blunt, the change to a cooldoown actually allows you to use the Time Warp twice as often, since it currently costs 100 energy, which requires about 127 seconds to generate the energy. Recall was also slightly buffed, so you can save up to 17 seconds of downtime if you use it regularly.
Of course, since these abilities now use cooldowns instead of energy, you can actually cast more spells (both) within a given time-frame than you could do with energy (where it was one or the other). EMP and Feedback no longer prevents you from casting either.
The big nerf that motherships received is the cloaking field change. I suspect that is going to be either fully or partially reverted.
The notes actually explain the reasoning behind each change. Guardian Shield lasts longer against Terran, particularly in cases where EMP would prevent further casts.
If you are using Tempests actively (repositioning between attacks for any reason), then the acceleration makes a fairly big difference. It allows you to move around 1.18 distance further between shots.
I mean it’s like you could have an article about how longer cool down of creep tumor will change certain situations etc etc, but everybody knows these changes do nothing. I don’t feel like I need explain anything. If this is the patch we gonna play next year, f this game. I’m done.
