So mamma ship has seen close to a dozen of different abilities in the past 10ish years of sc2. Which would you be most hyped to use in a MS-based commander? Obviously not all of these can/should/will be shoved onto a singular mothership, but that’d be fun to think about.
Mobility:
- Recall, teleporting MS and nearby units to target location (alarak)
- Recall, teleporting units in target location to MS (ladder)
- Blink (LotV campaign)
Utility
- Black hole, targets spin around vorazun style (LotV campaign)
- Vortex, targets inside in stasis and clumped (WoL ladder/campaign)
- Time warp, instant cast, slow units in area (HotS ladder)
- Time warp, slow attack/move speed after delay (ladder)
- Matrix shift aka time bomb, slow/delete incoming projectiles (Beta)
- Charge-up, restores energy quickly, channeled ability (WoL campaign)
- Cloaking field (Ladder)
- Detector (Jinara)
- Power field (WoL campaign, jinara)
Damage
- Thermal Lance, rapid-fire and autocast (alarak)
- Thermal Lance, high damage and energy cost (jinara, LotV campaign)
- Interceptors (jinara)
- Planet cracker, stationary, screen-sized AoE (WoL campaign)
- Planet cracker, while moving, but MS sized AoE (Beta)
- Vortex, delete air units after a long delay (Beta)
- Photon overcharge, pylon (Early LotV ladder)
- Photon overcharge, nexus (Late HotS ladder)

If Selendis gets a permanent Mothership I want it to be the most customizable unit that ever existed. Even make it like a Dota2 hero that when you upgrade your ultimate ability it turns into an even bigger unit, but give it like a total of 6 abilities out of like 20 to choose from and make them upgradeable and like maybe even a couple of cool passive abilities to choose from and an aura too that you can choose.

I honestly feel like this would be a good direction, in that it is a powerful hero unit that is upgraded with resources over time, similar to Dehaka in that the Mothership can potentially hold immense power in the late game, yet different in that you don’t need XP or a third resource, merely a metric crapton of Minerals and Vespene. Thus, one can choose to spend early game resources to building up the Mothership to a respectable power level, or instead focus on getting an army up first.
Because nothing would be more sweet than having a full-power Mothership just sweeping over a ground attack wave and just annihilating everything with a massive AOE Planet Cracker weapon for like 200 damage a second to everything under the Mothership.

None. The Mothership is a floating plate, I don’t fancy.
Personally, I’d love a Mothership to be kitted with these:
-Blink, to keep the Mothership alive
-Vortex, if they have access to Archons. Bring back the Archon Toilet!
-Immobile Planet Cracker for an ultimate. Blow everything up. Though with how much DPS there usually is on Brutal, they’d need something to buff it up for the duration – but not enough to make it unkillable.
Give back the beta mothership then all its good 
Reminds me of the Spear of Adun Solarite assignment in a good way.
I’d love to pick between two or three abilities each “level” for a total of four options.
Those could range from the reinforcements WoL ability spawning units and a Pylon to the campaign Thermal Lance, one of my favorite abilities.
