Missing Portraits from Diablo 3 Collector's Edition

Today after loging into SC2 got an achievement from Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition that I’ve received in 2013. From that time I don’t have my Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition potrait with a Tyrael Marine. Instaed got the standard beginners portrait. I also can’t see the achievement in the achievement’s section. The Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls Collectors’s Edition achievement is still there. What happened?

I confirm the problem with the portraits. The portraits for the pre-order of starcraft remastered are missing.

also in the achievements, there is no mention of this

my bad man, theres been alot of the wow players coming over to the sc2 forums about stuff like that as well lately. as for the portraits on sc2 i cant tell you much about that, never payed attention to any of that useless stuff myself, as it neither helps you in any way or changes the way the game is played, its just pointless cosmetics. That being said, good luck trying to get answers from blizzard about anything in sc2 as its on life support and unless theres some game breaking bug, they pretty much dont care or bother with problems like this.

His query is about SC2.

Glad I’m not the only one with this issue.
My Tyriel Marine portrait was gone and I was upset about it.

I sent an issue ticket to the support team, but they don’t seem to know.
(Just copy-paste auto reply which was irrelevant to the complaint)

Hey folks,

Bliz is aware of the missing promotional items and is looking into it.

Of note: Support isn’t able to fix the issue because it is a development issue, so there isn’t a need to submit support tickets.

I’ve still got my Collector’s Edition portraits for Diablo III: Reaper of Souls as well as the one from the SC2 collector’s editions.

Not sure if that means this has been fixed or just that it’s not affecting everyone.

I’m not sure about all the others, I still had all the carbot skins, but all the stuff from D3 Collectors edition is gone. I was using the marine with tyrael wings which disappeared after a game and put me on the default portrait.

You write that these things are useless, but money was paid for this product. It is not correct to reason like that.

sure if you get totally excited and happy about something that doesnt improve your game what so ever and is simply a cosmetic to say " here you purchaced this" as well as your talking about something like a portrait which litterally is nothing but a picture beside your name, then sure by all means jump for joy all you want about it…

You bought a game, do you get excited and happy about playing something that doesn’t improve your quality of life or career or social skills and is simply a form of entertainment which is nothing but a waste of time, then sure by all means jump for joy all you want about it.

People buy things, people like things. People don’t want things they bought taken away from them. This is all perfectly normal. If you extrapolate what you’re saying about cosmetics to the real world, and get rid of all the “useless stuff” you’d be nothing but an employee, with no art, decorations, hobbies, or relationships or games of any kind. When the reality is, all those things do have an effect on your life and can bring some happiness.

The portraits were cool.

Except were talking about cosmetics in a video game here, not real life, and this makes your whole theory flawed, as well as saying playing a game doesnt improve quality of life, or career and social skills, as it does to all of these, same thing if you buy something in real life, its a physical object that is tangible in every form, and almost everything in real life that you buy has some sort of purpose and meaning, where as in a video game cosmetics dont improve anything what so ever. so everything you just tried to argue and make points about is simply false statements and your opinion, where as mine are facts. sorry bud you wont win this one here. cosmetics like portraits and decals and the rest ( except for skins) are nothing more but useless junk your given as a conselation for spending money on the game and the only thing it shows and proves is that you did just that, so unless your trying to gloat that you spent money, then again its just another pointless thing this game offers.

also im not sayng dont go out and get what you were suppose to get when you paid for something, all im saying is the things you are trying to get have no real purpose in the game other than the picture beside your name, and yes that is 100% a useless item.

You haven’t been affected, because mine isn’t back yet.

Cosmetics in the game are a way to stand out from the crowd of other players. People pay for cosmetics with their own money, which means they own them. I don’t know why you’re talking demagogy here.

as i explained already for the hundredth time, they are portraits that server only one purpose and one purpose only, to go by your name. thats it. it does not improve the game in anyway.

secondly non of the portraits are bought outright either DzirtRa, they are given to you as consolation for acheivements, or if you bought other games from blizzard. You didnt physical purchase a single one of these. so that argument of yours is null and void.

+1 also missing my D3 collector’s edition portraits.

Winterkn3: what you are saying contributes nothing to the conversation. We paid for items, they existed until recently which is clearly bugged, and we are making Blizzard aware of that. If you don’t have the portraits, you shouldn’t even be commenting in this thread as it’s an issue that doesn’t affect you.

first of all mr hito, it this is the forums. a place where players come to talk amongst themselves. and i have every right to come here and talk to all of you. that being said i also have every right to criticisize aspects of this game i do not like, and that brings us back to square one as i was having a conversation with another player. you may not like what i have to say but every bit of what i said is fact. the portraits only serve one purpose and that is to go next to your name. that is it and its not something you PAID for ever, that is fact. Portraits are freebees given out as consulation prizes for either buying certain other things in the game or unlocking them from achievements. YOU NEVER PAID FOR A SINGLE ONE.

Didn’t read, don’t care. Take the trolling elsewhere.
