Missing keyboard shortcuts

Hi,

Since 2 days, my keyboard shortcuts for sc2, saved since years, are not taken into account anymore.

When I look at the directory \Documents\StarCraft II\Accounts\XXXX\Hotkeys, I can see the txt files of my shortcuts… but they don’t seem to be used by the game anymore.

I uninstalled/reinstalled the whole game and it doesn’t change anything.

Also, I can’t create a new hotkey profile either, it’s not saved by SC2, and every time I come back to the interface, they are erased to reset the settings to default.

Has anyone had this problem? (and solved it?)

Might be a permissions issue, have you tried running SC2 as admin to see if it makes a difference?

I have exactly the same problem since today. And I found another problem I’m also unable to create new profile. I tried it in order to see where the new sc2hotkeys would have been created. But it doesn’t create any new profile… And when i try to change main profiles nothing is saved.
Can you solve this problem please?

Ok. All came back in order. I think that’s due to the last starcraft update. After few updates I had to autorize another time the windows network access on the private network of my computer during starcraft launch. I also unlock an antivirus request access on the user folder of starcraft. Then I had to relaunch starcraft 2 another times and I got back my hotkeys.

I had the same issue. Intro movie, unable to detect graphics settings and unable to see or save new key profiles. The issue was related to Windows Defender - ransomware protection. My Documents was under my ransomware protection “protected folders”. I solved the issue by allowing SC2_x64.exe through the protected folder protection.

Edit: annoyningly is would seem that this will become an issue for each update. the location of the .exe is in “Starcraft II\Versions\Base87702” which seems to me would change with updates. Not sure if it changes but my speculation is that is does.

This probleam appears agian and again. Looks like windows takes time before display a window to ask if I want to authorize it on the network…
Can you find me a solution in order to unlock it fastly…?
