The Alliance Menu does not have the option to be assigned a hotkey. I have looked around everywhere, and cannot find the ability to do so. Also, you cannot cycle the selection of the checkboxes, and are forced to click on the rather small icons in order to toggle the ally or share control options.
Similarly, The Team Resource menu has the default of Control+F12, but the actual setting of how many resources to share/request does not have a hotkey and must be clicked on the arrows or scroll wheeled. To those using a trackpad instead of a mouse, it is almost impossible to use the scrolling feature. It would be useful to have the ability to cycle through all the fields via a hotkey like Tab, and then type in a numerical value in the currently selected field in the Team Resource menu, and finally Enter or some other configurable hotkey to confirm the sending of the current field. Often players need a specific amount, and being able to type the exact amount in quickly would be very beneficial for team play. I would even argue to go so far as to add a command in chat that can do the same thing as the Team Resource menu, something like ‘/ask gas 200’ (to request 200 gas) or ‘/share 3 minerals 400’ (to give 400 minerals to your third ally), although it may be that with proper hotkey support, these commands won’t be needed at all.
An even further idea would be to add new options for Team games in the Gameplay Options, such as allowing users to set that control is automatically shared with all allies at the start of a team game by default. Another useful option addition would be to change the default resource asking value of all fields from 0 to some value, like 400. These would be immensely helpful and help reduce wasted actions on menu management.
These seem like serious oversights for over 10 years, and so as a fan of Team Play I submit this report.
