Mira's View on Human Lives

Here I thought Mengsk treat human lives like trash, then we have Mira who dumps them out a few trucks at a time.

Am I suppose to use every one of her units like Banelings? XD

Reapers attack from a distance, can jump up/down cliff or (with upgrade) fly to run away.
If the commander don’t fail them, they aren’t in such a bad position.

Other units don’t seem especially concerned about this view.

I suppose the technical difference here is that Mengsk drafts them (unwillingly) while Mira’s mercenaries are all in by contract for the money (willingly). Or at least that’s how I see it lol.

This has been a disturbing thing in many RTS. I remember a campaign mission in Star Trek Armada where I needed to take out a bunch of targets, but the Enterprise E must survive. So I build a dozen+ Sovereign class starships and send them in while Picard’s hanging out in the back, sucking down on Earl Gray

Only some, for their Death Effects

Don’t forgot ol’ Raynor, the man can win just by churning out wave after wave of Marines. He’s just got good PR.

Mira though, she definitely doesn’t care, those space stations she crashes in have tac fighters come out of them. Clearly the stations have people in them…

I feel like playing Mengsk P3 with those 50 cents Reapers. XD

I just started H/H last night and they’re the first commander I use F2 button extensively… because units die faster than I can smart group them lol, and sometimes I can’t even remember how many I made and were left on battlefield somewhere. Haven’t even try Horners’ units yet outside of Raven.

Mass Mira’s units is already really effective. I don’t blame ya lol.

And how useful are Horner’s? They price about the same as Mengsk and Nova’s units but H/H seems to require them for anti-air, compare to Mengsk/Nova where they have ground options.

Wraith are good all rounders with their upgrades, good just to mix in but die fairly quick on their own.

Viking’s air splash can come in handy, but their grounded mode is only really good on infested levels. Overall, the weaker of the choices, Wraith and Reapers can do 90% of what Vikings can.

BCs have phenomenal dps with Mini-Yamato, but naturally should use ATX against swarms due to overkill. They can also help soak damage with their massive hp pool.

Ravens are a must.

For anti-air though, Reapers’ jump jet ability is generally enough not to worry about it too much. The big advantage to Horner’s units overall is utility and the bonus they give to Han’s units.

Basically, you don’t need Horner’s units at all, outside of Ravens, but I’d say you’re losing out on a fair bit of power if you don’t mix some in.

Mmmm, useful to have for sure… in the sense that any complimentary army is better than massing one type.

Rick’s assessment is fairly on point. So you can tinker around based on that.

You can perfectly run just Matt’s units with no issues. It’s just a matter of getting use to it. Whether it’s mass wraiths, mass BC, or a mix of them.

At the moment I’m using mainly Reapers, with Hellion/Hellbat roughly half of Reaper’s #. They’re so cheap to replace and kill things on death that I use most of the gas for upgrades/research/Raven, and get Horner’s units with spares. Assault Galleons already distract enemy air enough that BC seems to be the only critical one due to its Yamatos. (Air Strike can already handle quite a few land targets)

Question: When Reapers die in the air, do the bombs they drop also target air units?

I want to say yes but honestly not sure… my memory tells me it is a yes.

The problem is the Death Effect does so little damage (10) and the mastery set is still bugged. Between those and the fact that air units are less collision bound (unlike ground units), I am not confident they contribute to a large portion of the damage.

So even if they do target air, it isn’t likely to be a lot of damage? Or so I think…

Mass reaper in mix with 3-4 upgradet ravens and a few hellblazers (don’t know the Name now) is extremely effective in melting Targets and bases.

Mira units are all bound by contract so I guess that involves to die too.
Horners Units on the other Hand are not and even got all theyr own names if u call em down

Pretty sure she lives by the “Any publicity is good publicity” school of thought.
