His ramp up time was already long enough. This was more of a YOURE HAVING TOO MUCH FUN nerf.
It’s the boring leveling experience all over again.
We get it. The whiners saw that ESO was exploiting niche mutations and missions that don’t require you to leave your base ie. VOID THRASHING or the shuttle mission. Ok man, theyre too good.
But most missions actually require you to move around and take/kill objectives. Add mutations in, and you cant spam ESO batteries in the middle of the map while youre getting dominated from all sides. Anyone that says otherwise is taking the piss.
Should revert the eco nerf so his army could maybe compete with other commanders especially in brutal+
And ESO wasn’t nerfed, so they want Mengsk to be the one trick pony with the ESO gimmick
Im all for tweaks for ESO to not make it a stupid gimmick. That was the REAL ISSUE here, not the worker start.
They could limit their production number ie, a max cap of 6-8.
What they should do is a cost reduction for honor guard units overall. Except the BC which is already decent. Buffing the ghost is a definite must. Blackhammers +3 armor aura is pitfully bad aswell.
Revert the mandate change. The entire reason it is needed is due to the fact that you need to rush an imperial witness out asap to make your Astra militarum Conscripts semi-effective. Sinking stupid amounts of rescources into honour guard units early is a usually a death sentence. And the added ramp up time is pure aids.
Big knee jerk reaction nerfs is something that Gearbox in borderlands 3 does. Blizzard don’t fall into this mentality please.
Mengsk was never a really strong commander but this is what the whining threads get for complaining about him all this month, the Zeratul nerfs were completely justified in my opinion but Mengsk needed the fast start to have a chance in the early game.
Yup. You can tell that starting mandate change wasn’t even tested because the CD on bunker calldown is off, it’s maxed to 4 for a very long time.
Mengsk really needs his topbars and early econ to be effective or even on par with other commanders (CCs are his barracks), but of course they listened to the whiners on here saying his starting econ was OP. Bet they didn’t even buy him.
Release a commander and nerf him 3 weeks later? Yeah. It doesn’t sound right at all.
Some nerfs, yes. But Zera was definitely overnerfed. Rather than fixing the projection, they nerfed cannons and the projection.
Well, I mean…
Mengsk definitely feels like one of the weakest commanders in the game XD
His troops are crap and overpriced…no early game…
For me it whas the opposite. I did test him, did not like him because he whas to weak and so did not bought him I find, that beside ESO and early game tanking he does not really contribute so I whas all against those nerfes.
Mengsk feels like Fenix before he got a number of patches to buff him
Kneejerk reaction. Kids calling their mother/dev for help and protection.
