Does anyone know if there are maps out there with traps or built in weapons that inflicts damage to any player participating in a multiplayer game or if I could make one myself with the editor?.. Man That would be so amazing to have those in multiplayer maps!!
yes i saw one a few months or maybe a year ago that had “rogue missile turrets” that would shoot at either sides air units. i dont remember what it was called.
i think there would be some fun games to watch but i usually veto weird janky maps such as golden wall and i think depending on what the trap was i would veto that map too.
i would suggest slowdown traps or maybe traps that one player can activate that will hurt or trap enemy units, i dont think the trap should be “if your not paying attention a bunch of units will die to an explosion”

Anything outside the mainstream maps where players just kill each other works for me. Any kind of trap or weapon on the map will put some more difficulty in the game and would be really fun for people that not necessarily play for competition. But I definitely agree with some of your points.
