In versus, we get to vote on map preferences. Should we be able to do the same for co-op missions?
Yeah I think we should Indeed have the option to veto certain maps, for me I don’t like Scythe of Amon and Craddle of Death, the rest is fine but those 2 grind my gears.
I’ve been insta-leaving CoD lately. I just really hate this map. The extra micro for the truck (do I send the truck in first and risk it getting destroyed or do I send my troops in first and start the battle with 25-50% health gone?), the narrow ramps to every base, the extra spawning attack waves…this map is really tedious.
So yes voting to remove this map would be great. I also feel bad saying it because a whole bunch of people worked really hard to make it. But this map sucks.
This is a regular topic BTW. It’s not going to happen.
I hate CoD horrible and bad map to me.
I also hate LnL bc it’s easy af and super cheeseable.
And also hate VT for the previous reason plus ppl choose it all the time.
I avoid them currently.
Co Op doesnt need a map veto, just pick a map if you don’t want to play Random map. If you want the extra XP then pick a random map. This isn’t rocket science.
The reason multiplayer has map vetoes is because it’s ranked and you can’t choose what map you’re going to be on. Co Op isn’t ranked. The extra XP is a reward for making the queues faster. Don’t want to participate in that idea? Then pick your own stupid map.
I do like the idea of selecting a certain map as “less likely.” Some commanders don’t get the tools they want for some maps until later - for example, Zeratul is very powerful, but before he gets monoliths a map like Dead of Night is a pain, so it would be fun to say “I’m down for anything but that.” And I don’t think it would slow down the queues that much.
Would be funny if this was the time it actually happened.
This idea seems to submerge and re-emerge every once in awhile but never get picked up.
You know, this is like 1000th times that the same posts were uploaded.
I wonder if the developers are currently developing an option to veto the map (although I wish they can first make develop new map).
