Make zerg harder

A large part of early game is Macro, dealing with harass and spread creep. Doing bad at any of these will result in a bad game all round for the Zerg in the mid game and late game. In the mid game, they have to keep up the above plus all other important army micro and decision. All of this take a lot of APM and short term reaction while also require some long term strategic thinking. Compare to T and P who have a macro that “Set and forget”, doesn’t have to do constant creep spread for vision(Apply to T only), and a production that doesn’t need constant supervision, Zerg is far harder.

Same for other T2 and below of other factions, what’s your point?

That is true for anyone who is far ahead, What’s your point?

Would be much appreciated. We saw serral losing yesterday because he couldnt do splits vs banes. Things Terran do day in and day out and get laughed at when they mention it. Still serral cant pull that off and underestimates banes. Loses against reynor Who most of the time of the match doesnt even have a third and goes for 2 roach warrens.

“Serral is only good because he plays Zerg”

LOL. I thought this garbage argument was over with but I guess not.

The 2.9k Zerg/ 4.5k Terran over here

I didnt say that at all but ok

But yeeting your army without splits in banes is not something You would expect from the goat himself.

Because he didn’t expect a bunch of banes. Implying that Serral can’t split… LOL

That was the second engagement vs banes tho. He lost a bunch of stuff vs the first banes. Then he lost entirely in the second fight.
Also he saw banes were made long before that first engagement. Also, banes vs hydras is not that unusual  so i dont know what you are talking about.

According to smix in the twitch chat after that match, Serral was quoted saying that he didn’t expect Reynor to have any banelings in the last push. Presumably due to the high gas usage right before that and the low econ for the vast majority of the match.

He knew they were in the game but he didn’t know Reynor made that many for the next fight. Normally when you go muta/roach you don’t get a bunch of banes with it.

Ah thats why. Well, that sound plausible but rather naive. A terran player would always expect or at least respect/fear banes because thats game ending threat. We could clearly see that banes must have been in vision for him but maybe he didnt look at it. And we can assume that he actually attacked into reynor without even looking because in the final engagement we can clearly see that his army moves towards the banes. Like a happy welcoming of death. In either case attacking an enemy without looking in that situation is deadly. Either way, it was played horribly and not to be expected from the goat himself.

Yeah everyone (including Serral) was shocked at the outcome of that last game. We’ll see what it looks like in the rematch though!
