there is allot of talk that zerg is overpowered and while this is true, dont forget that zerg is also the brain dead, one hot key, A-move, rolling face on keyboard, double digit apm to grand master, easy win race.
I think the best way to make zerg harder would probably be to make queen injects not stack.

Ty’s who is supposedly the fastest player has around 420 average apm,any 2nd tier pro eu zerg has around 500 apm
even stretch has like 400 apm,and he is like 4.7k,just because he plays zerg
1k APM purely from rapid fire spam.
That was not rapid fire spam. If you slow down the video and look at the moments where he achieves 1000 apm Reynor only made 12 more zerglings during that time. That means, yes he did achieve 1k APM from looking at his mutas, then looking at his ling bane army, and looking at his queens for injects.
Working smart is often better rewarded and appreciated than working hard. But that doesn’t mean that hard workers are less intelligent.
Zerg is strongest race, yea sure. Zerg is easy? yea no.
It’s not just from that.
They have to inject and spread creep all game, and those require more and more apm as the game progresses. Also they are the least death-bally race, meaning more screen switching and control of smaller groups compared to T/P
