Make unranked useful by allowing players to veto opponent’s races and get practice in a specific matchup. Move this mode away from smurfs bullying new players and taking a disproportionate amount of their MMR and towards being a legitimate practice tool.
That the use blizz gives to unranked, so its working as intended, not gonna happen.
LMAO, what ever you need to tell yourself dude. Unranked was certainly not INTENDED to facilitate smurfing, even if that is the ultimate outcome.
Back to the point, this thread is not about smurfing, it is about the suggestion to allow race vetoes in unranked so that you can search for a specific match-up to practice. IE you want to practice a TvZ build, so you veto T, P, R in unranked and search for only Zerg opponents. Thoughts?

I agree with this and would be willing to wait a few minutes before begining matched up. I think they should put a 5 min timer on it before auto matching you with next available opponent.

They can’t afford this because there are insufficient players on SC2 already. Let’s not forget that unranked are also still matched up with ranked players because of the lack of players. (Sorry if this bursts someone’s bubble that unranked is on a separate game list.) The only difference is that ranked players will be affected if they win / lose and not unranked.
Or ranked players wont get a match up and I could care less If P gets another easy PvT match again. let them have their pvp and their pvz. they deserve those matches and only those.
Hmm, I’ve played on accounts ranked bronze through masters and all of them usually get matched in under 1 minute, which seems fine to me. Regarding the rest of what you’ve said, nothing would change?
Same. It’s rare that I wait over a minute even at odd hours. SC2 isn’t the most active game available, but RTS’s never are. For an RTS SC2 is pretty darn active. To call it dead is quite premature.

It facilitates smurfing. I know this because I play unranked with an account of mine for training and regularly get matched up with people 2-3 leagues below me. They should make it where if you play someone who is playing unranked you can gain points but cannot lose points.
Maybe, but it’s not really fair for some people to pay for their losses and others not purely from the luck-of-the-draw that opponent happened to be unranked. At any rate, this thread is not supposed to be about smurfing, it’s about the idea to allow people to choose race matchup for practice in unranked.
YES! Add matchup practice! Everyone who is against this is only against it because they just want to delete unranked. They don’t want to see it become better, they want to always keep the game the same!
