Mech is fun to play and it adds another dimension to the game. However, it is the worst thing that you can go in any match up. In TvT. If somone goes bio tank. they get to control the map. Have more mobility than you and have the possibility of containing you on 2 bases. Against zerg you give up the map and and you will never catch up to them. Against toss. Mech is just…its an instant loss. immortals hard counter mech and disrupters make mech unplayable.
Why can’t mech be an option? Why is mech hard countered in all match ups. On top of that all variations of mech are bad. ghost mech, battle mech, standard mech. and bio/mech. They are all bad.
So what is terran left with. MMM. Every game MMM. MMM is figured out in TvZ thus the insance winrates for months now. And PvT is figured out to a point where people are complaining about the match up.
I dont think mech will ever be an option. Terran overall is in a really bad state.I am 100% sure no one cares but I quit. Deleting account now and uninstalling.
Thanks you blizzard for some of the worst experiences of my life. If you had a rating system I would give you a zero. buy the game again just so I can rate you 0 again out of spite.
The trouble lies in P and Z have too many hard counters.
Mech relies on prepared positions.
Adepts , zealots , tempest, disruptor, colossi all easily counter all mech units with HT counter air and caster threats.
All of a sudden T has no options
For Zerg. Swarm hosts tend to be the biggest challenge. Even though mech is more viable

In TvT, if someone goes mech, you can’t push into them at all, their bases are uncontestable, and one tank can deny 20 marines. For Zergs, it is impossible to push into a sieged location, and they can get up to 80 workers for free. For Toss, mech is just… still viable. Siege tanks hard counter immortals and disruptors are hard countered by liberators.
Why can’t any race push into mech? Why does mech hard counter all matchups. On top of all that, variations of mech are good. Ghost mech (works in TvZ and TvP), battle mech (works well in TvZ and potentially TvP), standard mech (works well in all matchups), and bio mech (that’s marine tank - works well in all matchups). They are all good.
So what is Terran left with. A bunch of options. A bunch of openers. Every game you have 50 possible strategies that could come out. You also have the option to play a standard macro game. And Terrans still refuse to play PvT and choose to complain about the matchup instead.
I don’t think mech will ever leave the game. Terran overall is in a really good state. I am 100% no one cares but thank goodness you will be gone. Bye.

Yeah i play mech only in TvZ, it is dogsh1t. Mech is so underpowered, it is joke! Only terran has 1 strategy, while other races can do literally anything…
