I have experienced at least four total freeze-ups on different maps with different commanders on my Mac computer. It’s odd for a few reasons. It happens when the heat of battle comes, but it can be a relatively small early game wave. After the game freezes, I get either a back screen or a stationary background with the troops, yet my cursor is still able to move. I cannot force quit starcraft or hide/minimize the game either at this point. The only solution is to restart the computer and hope the issue won’t resurface for a while. I have experienced this issue both before and after the Mengsk update. I have a mid-2010 Mac Pro running Mojave 10.14.6 (most current). My graphics card and amount of memory are more than capable of running the game with the highest settings.
Going through all the campaigns many times, I have never met this issue. Its just in co op when things get a little dicy.
Does anyone else out there run into similar issues, or am I doing something wrong?
