M2 Max MacBook Pro, 96 GB RAM — SC2 is unplayable

I don’t know what to do. It was almost playable 4 weeks ago but now, after the latest update… its responding like an Windows Pentium.

Battlenet version 5.0.13.92174

I have the same problem, after log-in for around 10 sec. the screen frozen and then, the SCII program crushed.

I tried :

  1. re-install macOS, Battle.net and SCII – fail
  2. change Mac name without any space – fail
  3. confirm the game setting using Metal API and Vertical Sync – fail

Battle net. version: 5.0.13.92174
My detail: M1 Pro MacBook Pro 16GB, Sonoma 14.5

Finally, I found the root cause of crush.

Since I also install AdGuard for Mac, I think it may effect the internet connection.

However, SCII work smoothly since I close AdGuard for Mac, and I also use AdGuard for safari, it’s work.
