Yeah, saw that too. Perhaps, mass void-ray into skytoss+HT is too comfortable of a build in PvZ after all.

But reverting the buff is lame. VR can always receive a nerf in:

  • reduce the acceleration speed future.
  • get the baneling treatment (reduce base damage, but keep vs armor the same)
  • reduce the base attack range by 1, but with Prismatic Alignment still range 6 (that would make the build a lot more micro-intensive too)

But honestly, this should promote the use of microbial shroud so that the hydras actually do hard-counter the void rays. The shroud really should be attached to a biological ground unit though, then their usually will finally be a lot more common.

Skytoss was OP before the void ray buff. This just made it easier to get there and showed Protoss players how OP it is.

ya the mass carriers are dumb even grandmasters are having very hard time abducting them one by one so lower than masters are all screwed

No overlord scout, no reacting to the incoming voids, losing a hatcherie due to terrible reaction, losing lings on an useless way trying to kill a walled adept, trying to attack into defended nat with not enough units and overcharge,lost main to voids, no multiprong attacks, no ling/bane runbys, no lategame transition or lategame army composition and no armor upgrades

Yea, such a load of BS. Everybody knows that if a Protoss builds all his tech-tree (we did not saw only Collo/Disruptors but Carriers and Mothership yes), he can win against a Zerg that builds …only Hydras.
This Lowko BS is comparable with the BatZ meme on this forum.

Still though, voids do force hydras, which make me feel that hydras should counter it harder.

It’d be nice if the situation is like this:
hydra + infestor > void + HT.
And,
hydra + lurker + infestor = void + HT + carriers.

He could have put there an extra spore or moving the one that wasn’t doing anything on the mineral line, saw late one void with the lings at the P third, and didn’t do anything about it, saw voids coming with an overlord and when they arrived there was just one queen there instead of a group of queens pushing away the voids, then gets a bit damaged, regroups some queens, makes the void leave and then puts down two tumors instead of saving energy for transfuses so the voids start snowballing and the queens diying.

Zerg Players arent used to micro or using their brains.

They will see swarm host nydus and say its the most difficult way to Play the game.
They will say its actually an achievement and take a lot of skill to micro mutas to the different bases and Kill workers.

We dont expect much from the trump race.
