A bit different topic today:
how powerful are the units, and specially the heroes, of the Starcraft saga (the lore, not in-game. For example, archons are, by far, more powerful in the lore than in-game)?
To give an arbitrary index, lets say that a marine has a power level of 1 unit,
how much powerful is a zealot? and a zergling? What about Kerrigan or Zeratul?
Tassadar distingished himself from the other templars because he had incredible psionic powers (he was even able to destroy the Overmind focusing all his power in the Gantrithor), was he capable of destroying a whole city just by himself with psionic storms?
And then we have the dark archon Ulrezaj, which is the fusion of 7 DTs. We have seen the Dark archons as the most powerful unit because of his three abilities: paralyze enemies, use their whole energy against themselves and literally controling their minds, d. archons are so powerful that they cant even bear their energy and they want to be in the void as fast as possible, it looks like their existence is just suffering. How much powerful is him?
I just highlighted some examples, if someone knows about SC lore I would like to read their opinions

As in Versus mode, the value of unit is determined by how the unit is used ^^
If Hydralisk is around 2-3 units, then I believe average Zealot could be 6-12 units; in small fights - there are described situations when single/small group of non-hero zealots fought with many Zergs and won.
How powerful a High Templar is? A single storm can kill even 20 marines. Two storms can kill ~up to 20 hydralisks. Add to that ability to blow up minds and you get around 45-60 units. However, High Templar is already kind of heroic rare Protoss unit [rapid fire does brrrrrr]. High Templar Karass is probably as powerful as most of High Templars.
And then you have machines of destruction, 50 meters tall Colossi. They were cutting through tanks and anihilating infrantry. Power is difficult to estimate, but I bet it’s over 100 or even 130 units.
The whole ranking is going to be very subjective.
A Ghost may find it more time-consuming to kill 20 Hydralisks (look New Gettysburg), however should be able to give some fight against a High Templar, or kill thousands of Zergs with nukes. Depends on point of view.

Yep, it is also weird to look the monstruous colossus, which is described as the ultimate war machine that can destroy armies, to get beaten in the ladder against 2 tanks xD

starcraft 2 lore is only twice as good as the new star wars(so not that good) so idk why anyone would care about it, games dead anyway.
In the LOTV opening cinematic, the high templars morphed into an archon, and then the archon took down an ULTRALISK. BY WARPING IT AWAY. That’s insane. In ladder, ultralisks beat the crap out of archons. In the cinematic? It was 1-1. Imagine if archons could take down a unit with it in game.
Also, shout out to Probius. Clearly the strongest Protoss unit is the probe.
If you have nothing nice to say to an innocent post like this, then go away. You are such a pos even outside of your whining…
