Larger than !@#$ maps and balance

Does anyone else agree that these super large maps ie Simulacrum, Ephemeron, Darkness Sanctuary are extremely bad for what we know as “balance” and favors units that are fast as !@#$ ie: warp prism harass, blink, chargelots.

No kidding, takes my units like a minute to make it across the map. SC2 has devolved into who’s army can suicide into the worker lines and destroy the economy.

Larger maps make a-move tactics more thrilling. And game thusly lasts a bit longer.
Definitely zerg favored/inspired maps.

i love how you only mention protoss units, considering that protoss has been completely destroyed by the last patch, resulting in an absurd terran buff in PvT, we literally have no counter to marines until storm and colos are out which we cant have by the time ur stim is done, and even if we did, you could easily kite the 1 or 2 storm wed have available and colos are just trash without range, specially if you have a handful of marauders to target it down.

Yea it’s pretty dumb

i actually am lol, it feels like instead of balancing, they just nerf every viable opening and strategies protoss has to a point where they arent worth doing at all.

I mean protoss does still have the disruptor…

Yeah, it’s pretty bad right now. Terrans got some good QoL buffs and Protoss got super nerfed.

I bet the balance team doesn’t even consider it a nerf…they are totally disconnected from the reality of sc2 right now…
