"It doesn't mean you are smart" - Dr. Richard Haier

LOL

All I can do is shake my head. This guy is so clueless. I stopped reading there, mr anesthetic.

Mercurial just admitted he doesn’t know what a negative correlation is (and therefore knows literally nothing about correlations or statistics) despite claiming to have a statistics related degree, but let’s keep pretending I am a clown. It’s amazing how all the alt accounts always enter lockstep with their narratives, never calling out their own absurdities no matter how egregious they are, while attempting to crucify their opponents for purely imaginary mistakes. When you are never guilty of even your worst mistakes, and everyone else is guilty for things they haven’t even done, it’s time to realize you might be a little bit crazy.

Not one person can find anything wrong with anything I’ve said, as evidenced by their repeated need to lie about and misrepresent what I’ve said, yet you call me a clown meanwhile everyone else here is perpetually spewing BS that even a knuckle dragging neanderthal would know is wrong. It makes me incredibly sad that there is this much cerebral atrophy on these forums. SC2 truly is a magnet for dunces. I’ve had these same conversations on Chess forums and and they’d go about as you’d expect. These forums however have such a tremendous concentration of low IQ it makes me wonder if there is a handicapped care facility somewhere out there that has a daily “posting on battle.net” activity that they do with their residents.

Poor BatZ, BabaYaga was not nice to him. I will advise my cousin Yaga and my friend Goba to treat you with soft gloves in the future.
On my part i will not ban you right-away but will limit myself only with a notice.
You also should write in your notebook (no printing allowed) 1000 times: Protoss is not OP. Game is balanced.
If you fail the assignment you will be punished:

More incoherent gibberish, thus proving no arguments exist that are capable of supporting his position.

Did you realy means negative correlation? Lmao, so you are saying being good at SC2 is correlated to how dumb you are. I was agreeing with the no correlation thing, but negative correlation is stupid, thank god I don’t need to agree with you on nothing then.

Also, I love how you always try to hyperfocus on an individual point that I made out of like 5 and only responds to that because you think that is your best chance on escaping the pile of garbage that you burried yourself in. My challenge is still there, it is still time to ask for help to that old professor that you hate.

Also, my major is Pure Math, it is nothing to do with Statistics, I never said I did statistics, there are like 3 stats classes on it that I didn’t even started yet, I just started the first one, statistics however have a lot of math disciplines, just like engeneering studies math but math doesn’t study engeneering, that goes to show how awesome of a basis math is for every single science. Also, this is just another evidence on how little you know what you are criticising.

My minor was on meteorology, geology and astronomy, and the markov chain didn’t took much of the meteo’s subject, it was just an introduction on how things works, I saw a brief on markov chain on Linear Algebra also, that’s all, I’m formaly starting stats now.

Sorry you don’t get to rewrite history. If you want to admit you were wrong and walk it back that’s fine. But it was clearly stated earlier on in the thread then repeatedly in our conversation. You denied the existence of a negative correlation, saying there is only a positive correlation or no relationship at all. You even scolded me for using the “wrong” term.

Yeah when you start saying that correlations can only be positive it’s pretty obvious you’re just a troll and/or have no clue what you are talking about. So there really isn’t a point to even reading your posts.

Let me guess, from Google university?

The amount of sheer projection here is just mind blowing.

Reading batzys answers is kinda sad. I always knew he wasnt deep into this but i have never imagined that this was that severe

Oh look another alt account entering lockstep with the other troll accounts. You can find people who think the Earth is flat but every account on Battle.net has exactly the same opinions without fail

Yeah, but it’s so much on your face that’s cringe.

Just quote right here where did I say negative correlation don’t exists, and if you quote this

You are literaly braindead and you did on pourpose misread what I wrote in atempt to derail the conversation for you to get a quick escape from that pile of garbage that you burried yourself in.

I literaly thought you meant “no” correlation in this sentence because to imply that is a “negative” correlation is even worse level of wrong so I would imagine you weren’t as braindead but I guess I gave you too much credit.

Quick remembering of my challenge is still unanswered mr math is old and bad.

Yes, yes, it’s crystal clear how you think. You make repeated monstrous mistakes, never apologize for them, have a giant list of excuses ranging from “It’s OK to be wrong” to “It’s all YOUR fault!” all while you contribute nothing to the conversation except personal attacks ridden with spelling errors and NEVER extend such generous excuses for your opponents (aka huge double standards).

News flash, it’s not OK to be wrong after you’ve hyped yourself to be a math savant, called other people the “stupidest” person you’ve ever met / “braindead” / etc. Nothing short of an absolute home-run can save you.

It’s also not OK to repeatedly lie about another person, calling them a “math denier” and other ludicrous things. So now that you are crying that your mistake was a simple misunderstanding I’ve got news for you: you have exactly ZERO good faith to work with so the default assumption is that you are lying.

I will extend an olive branch to you, however: Please admit that you were wrong when you called me a math denier, and that I was simply advocating for improving on outdated areas of math using modern technologies like computers and the removal of politics from mathematics & science. Matrix math, for example, is MUCH easier to understand with a graphics library to visualize the transformations. But you repeatedly lied, calling me a math denier, for pointing this out. If you are willing to take full responsibility for this, and walk it back with an apology, then I am willing to give you a clean slate.

Thats my only Account but ok. Hey i am not the one having no idea what the differences are between applied maths and pure maths. In theoretical electrical engineering we were at the same Campus as theoretical physicists (Who have basically the same courses as mathematicians to some degree) had some courses with Them. I had the highest maths classes below pure maths (also could have switched to pure maths/physics if i wanted to and take all my Passed classes which actually pissed Them off…understandably) and i am to this day thankful that i never really had to do the stuff they had to do in maths. Because yes it was very high maths but it was applied maths nontheless. Therefore You had Algorithms and things You can google/read in books. But pure maths is none of this. You cant really Google how You prove very specific things. And how You should approach those things. And they got asked to prove all kinds of different things. Because if You can imagine You can Think about so freaking many things You can actually try to prove. Pure maths is not about calculating specific things. Its not about numbers. Not even really about letters. Not about equations. Its about theorems that describe/prove certain things which You can use to try and figure out how to prove something else. These are often half a Page long and even someone Who has highest understanding of applied maths cant even Think about the meaning of whats written there. This is just madness.

Reaction speed is correlated with intelligence.

Not if you look at the plant and animal kingdom. Small brained organisms can have some of the fastest reaction times out there.

Oh look the multi personality role player is on to his 15th account and is now claiming to be not just a statistician, meteorologist, professor and others, but also an electrical engineer.

I happen to know a thing or two about this subject. I have a computer that has a thermistor. The thermistor triggers a fan to turn on. It is not software configurable. For simplicity’s sake we will say it’s an 100k NTC with a Beta value of 3950. What resistors do I use, and in what configurations, to configure it to turn the fan on sooner? It turns on at 220F. I would prefer it to turn on at 180F.

Not just that look at blitz chess. The quality of the moves is related to the amount of time that a player has to make those moves. As the timer runs out, the number and magnitude of mistakes skyrockets.

In chess by the time you get to 1 move every 30 seconds you’re already going to get loads of mistakes which is equivalent to 2 APM in SC2 terms. But SC2 is so spastic that you have to throw out hundreds of APM a minute. A typical GM with 200 APM will be making decisions literally a hundred times faster than in Chess. Anyone who thinks you can make intelligent moves under those circumstances is braindead.

SC2 isn’t about making intelligent decisions. It’s about spazzing out as much APM as you can which is a goal that is completely and utterly opposed to intelligent decision making. SC2 is 100% about reflexes and nothing else.

It’s important to note that even Chess at 2 APM has decision making MUCH faster than most real-world decision making. Most major decisions made in the real world have hundreds or even thousands of hours of thought & planning put into them. The idea that you can be “intelligent” with hundreds of tasks per minute is so delusional it takes literal brain damage to believe.

you know me long enough to know that this is my only account.

you know a thing about this subject? proceeds to ask a technical question that doesnt have anything to do with theoretical electrical engineering. whats wrong with you? at first you dont grasp actual maths and now you dont even understand what the difference is between applied science/engineering and theoretical engineering?
Apparently your fan triggers on a higher siemens value. i suggest using a different ntc which curve suits your wanted siemens value more or use a resistor parallel to reach required siemens value sooner.
But not like anyone would care about a technical question since i dont know but i dont care because it doesnt actually test what i do know or what i dont know. Its not really fun. More fun is to know where the required power flux density can be “found”. “Within” the wire? Care to explain with maxwell? wooow look at me now im so smart and cool and use big words and outplayed my opponent.

Also, use freaking real units ffs. Fahrenheit :face_vomiting: :face_vomiting: :face_vomiting: not even SI.

Also, how ironic “calling” me out to have multiple amounts of accounts while you have by far the most and even deny half of your alt accounts

What are you implying? That being shorter is advantageous when playing starcraft?

Maybe, but probably not as much as being more intelligent.

You have to give experts in their given field some respect for God’s sake.

1-2 years ago you had the opinion that SC2 and IQ were correlated. You turned 180 degrees on the subject and pretend your original stance never existed.

That’s why i called this clown an low-grade opportunist with no spine. All that matters for this immature individual is to have the last word in any discussion be that SC2, biology, medicine, surgery, astrobiology, philosophy, politics, theoretical physics, and 100 other disciplines that would be to long to enumerate.
He debates for the sake of arguing. The moment that you would retreat and accept his thesis, the clown will do a 180 degree turn and will start to argue the polar opposite.

He is a bored immature kid.
