Is there an actual reason why being able to pick which race/races you would like to play vs would be a bad thing?

Look I am going to freaking level with you guys today. JFC I have played so much SC2 probably 35,000 games. I am doing some old math and it’s like 1 game a day until I am like 89 or something (am not 80) including far before the game was released and I could walk or read.

So I am thinking what is wrong with just saying you know what! I want to play 5 TvZ to try this out on, and I will wait for 20 mins in queue to find someone. Or even (not trying to scope creep my devs) but like only TvZ and TvP for a few days or something just to keep focus on a BO or style of play. This seems like it would make this game even more playable to me and seems relatively low overhead in terms of not needing a new RTS game. Especially with the quarantine, what we in the USheuivAs need is some extra tools to keep hammering on…Before this whole train shakes apart into a pile of nails and old railroad spikes!

Serious no BS you crazy Protoss trolls I have finally figured out that the game is balanc ed it’s just not always worth 8-13 hours a day of your natural born life. But it’s hella fun SC on!

Seriously is this “impossible”

I think it should be an option for unranked mode, but not for ranked. Must be luck, but the matchup you really want to practice is usually the matchup you will see less. I remember one time, playing unranked and didn’t like TvT, so I played a few of them, then the entire gaming season turned into TvT after TvT, I ended leaving every TvT and in the end I left around 35 of 40 games,I wanted to play TvP and only got one and 3 TvZ.
