Last four games I 2v2 queued were AT pairs of 200-300 APM masters in diamond 2 MMR

That’s odd. I’ve noticed it too. I keep getting paired with people who have 200ish apm and identical hotkey setups every match but I’m sure it’s a coincidence.
I feel like I’m the only “mid tier” player left in SC2.
It’s also in 1v1.
Either my opponent/allies are 40 apm noobs that never learned how to play in the past 10+ years, or my opponents/allies are 200+apm pros.
I’m like the only 150 apm player left in SC2 that plays the game naturally without heavy theory (BO’s and such).
Either way I either curbstomp the enemy player/team or vice versa.
No challenge or impossible. No middle ground.

No you ain’t. I’m barely breaking 100 in my games and I’m pretty sure I’ve played guys with 130ish apm just today.
Yes, I’ve noticed as well. I am right now 4200 mmr on 2v2 which means roughly Master T2 and I’ve been getting paired a lot against low to mid Diamonds. I think the game population is just very low right now.

Teamgames are not very popular. Either people love competitive games and they play 1vs1 or casual players play co-op arcade (or not SC2).
