I know blizzard will never ban anyone for it. I just mean from like, a moral perspective, Is it cheating to do a BC rush vs zerg when you know how broken it is? Requires basically no micro from terran and 5x effort in response from the zerg.
I don’t see how you can use a BC rush vs zerg and feel any sense of accomplishment/honor from winning. Really amazing that it’s gone this long unaddressed.
when it was first introduced yea, but with the yomato nerf it isn’t quite as bad and is usually manageable. but it still a jerk-move. but not as bad as it once was, when like 95% of all zvt was doing it, that was a sad state.
I’m not saying it’s unbeatable. It’s just that even when it “fails” it forces out more from the zerg than it took from the terran do it with comparably little risk. Basically a stronger banshee but without the micro.
Edit: I like the idea Lethe suggested in another thread about making yamato and teleport share a cooldown. The increase in yamato research time and 1sec on teleport helped a little but I feel the shared cooldown would be good in forcing out strategic choice rather than teleport and spamming yamato.
You could say the same thing about liberators or yolo hellions. Are you going to not do it because it feels unfair? Why wouldn’t you play to the strength’s of your race?

Not OP, it is actually quite managable if scouted. That been said it has no place in the game, and it is in my opinion top 2 most stupid mechanic in the game after swarm hosts and before disruptors. All three of them should be gone.

The reason why no one talks about it is because the top level Zergs have figured out how to deal with it. It’s one of those things that is broken at the lower levels, but manageable at the higher levels.
Well they’re similar that they’re low investment harass units that require a disproportionate response 
Tbh I think hellions are even better. You know they’re coming every game and most of the time they still get a lot of damage done.
I don’t see a problem with a BC rush. Just as it is with a Cannon rush or Ling rush. We just learn to deal with it accordingly, and it is even easier if people actually scout.
As what I always say:
It is really up to the individual. Everyone defines accomplishment differently from others. Just like some prefer to just get campaign achievements, while others insist that all achievements must be done on brutal mode. To each your own.
The only time it becomes an issue is when people insist that others need to abide by their standards. I mean… who the heck do they think they are? LoL
That is because you haven’t been on a receiving end of a Roach Ling timing when you go BC. This is a game ending move if there aren’t enough Tanks to hold the line.
I think where he is coming from is when his APM is around 50-70. Then, of course, a BC will win Libs or Hells in terms of efficiency because of the lower need to micro.
