Terran and Zerg do not have the same playstyle. Not even remotely close. Anything below GM and you just need to play better. As for tournament representation who cares? I’ve never seen MaskedWords or a single person on this forum in a tournament. Nobody cares about your tournament statistics, the pros don’t, blizzard don’t, and anyone of any influence doesn’t even mention this forum. The meta will change and there will be new winners. You guys gotta give this stuff time. You can’t just neuter a single race.

No i meant some people could say that protoss requires less clicks but more precise clicks, meaning you have to “aim” more, be more thoughtful of every click. You can imagine the zerg a-moving and right clicking a bunch of speedling to get a surround while the protoss has to click exactly 4 times very pricesely to lay down his forcefields and cut the army in half. While the zerged clicked more, i’d argue that engagement specifically was harder for protoss. But, of course the zerg has to macro at the same time which is much much harder than protoss macro. So while i agree zerg is harder at any given time than protoss, more clicks isnt necessarily always harder.

You’re telling me a Protoss has to “aim” more than a terran who has to focus fire individual banelings out of clusters of lings while stutter stepping? I have NEVER seen a Protoss focus fire banelings but it’s a normal part of TvZ.
Get real dude. The empirical evidence is overwhelming. You can’t have 50% of GM be Protoss without Protoss being easier to play. It’s statistically impossible. There is a certain skill level required to be in GM and you can’t have one race DOUBLE another unless the skill threshold is lower. That’s just a fact. So we know the skill requirements are lower and then when looking at typical skill metrics Protoss is lower across the board. If that weren’t enough these skill metrics have an EXTREMELY high correlation with win-rate (APM alone is 0.65). It’s a fact that Protoss requires less skill to play. Period.

Are your reading what im telling you? Its like you only read the first sentence. I agree protoss is op but its not JUST because of they have less click. There are a bunch of reasons. Thats all im saying. I’m a terrain main myself. What im saying is a protoss probably has to be more precise than a zerg in the early game so the amount of click isnt everything. One could argue (not me) quality is more important than quantity and that each race require different kinds of clicks. Zerg would require more clicks while protoss would require fewer more precise clicks.
That being said, ZERG IS STILL WAY HARDER because they have so much more things to do and it more than makes up for then just be precise micro from Protoss. Read the entire thing.

i meant in the early game. Protoss needs to split his army against bile. forcefield and kite while zerg mostly a-moves and right clicks for surround during fights. As i said, i think zerg is harder because they have so many more things to deal with (inject, spread creep, multi-task run-by’s, etc) but the early MICRO of zerg is probably the easiest while the late game micro of zerg is probably the hardest.

Wrong. It happens all the time. Zergs basically have no choice but to skill-shot moving targets with biles. If you pay attention to pro games you will see it happen all the time. Medivacs that are unloaded to heal marines are good targets. Any air unit moving in a straight line is also a good target. Battlecruisers that are warping in are good targets. Often fungal is combined with this. Rogue used this vs Innovation in Code S just recently. Also lol @ the guy saying Zerg doesn’t require “precise clicking”. That is straight up one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.

Sure, because to kill a deployed WP and a managed bunch of Phoenixes is the same thing. Biles are most of the cases used to force the opponent to change position (and lose DPS in the process), if by accident they manage to hit an air target that is just a bonus.
It is one thing to hit something unmanaged (predicting the position) and quite another thing hitting a fully managed air unit.
I know that you love to argue for the sake of arguing, but insisting here just make you look like a fool and clown (that you are).

I swear this MaskedWords guy is on every thread. It’s close to summer time. How about going outside for a picnic or a jog with some friends? How about firing up a game or two of SC2 instead of whining about it or bragging about how “special” you think you are because you have some stupid scars on your hands? I swear this guy makes the entire SC2 community look bad.
