I recently bought the Starcraft II Battle Chest on ebay new. Disk 1 installed fine. The install never asked for disk 2. When I try to explore disk 2 the computer can’t read any of it’s data, not a single visible file. I can only play Wings of Liberty. It seems it did not install Heart of the Swarm, or Legacy of the Void. How can I get those working?
The game in its current state cant be completely installed through CD at all. It needs to patch via the Battle.net app, which should download the content from the two expansions and automatically update it to the latest version. Expansion content is unlocked on a per-account basis, not per computer. Any updated install will have all the content on it, and will simply lock anything that isn’t purchased on the account currently logged in.
There should be product CD Key in your box. Use it to claim your expansion in your account setting page.
