This scene is pretty amazing when it comes to hackers.
I posted a thread on here about a GM player who always lies to me about streaming at the moment I’m playing him. He has yet to even stream one time in 2019. This is his default defense for “not hacking.”
He’s the most blatant Toss hacker I’ve seen in LotV, to not use a barcode. All someone has to do is look at one of his replays… his reaction times are either 1) INSTANT or 2) He miss times it and reacts before he has vision. 100% of the time.
If I ever have an oracle on the map, at a random spot, he will go directly to it with a phoenix, despite making a second stargate. If you think you’re playing phoenix vs phoenix… you’d never leave with a phoenix cause you’d die if they attacked you…
Ofc it was phoenix vs phoenix, without him scouting that and ofc he clicked directly on the oracle, through the fog. This guy is the worst player of all time at trying to hide the fact he’s hacking.
Despite all of this, guess what? I notified a showmatch organizer about this, but guess who plays in nearly every single showmatch thing and wins money? THIS GUY.
As a legit player, would you want to be associated with organized events that you know have hackers in them? The lack of care about hacking in this scene makes one abstain from even participating in the first place. Forget talking about the games they win via cheating, you can’t even play in the first place if not ignorant.
