To be honest,the situation feels similar to that old zvz era,people got fed up and started leaving the game and the viewers got bored.During 2019 at least people got happy with serral crushing tournaments,but it seems that the hype died and anfter a patch people wanted a change,so the IEM results were extremely dissapointing for many people.Lets see whats gonna happen on the next tournament,but if nothing changes,it will be really bad for the game and the comunity.

Feel like terrans are just watching the tournament to get excuses to whine, and get buffs that will allow them to get one more league.

pretty sure there was usually 20-30k viewers, which has been pretty standard the last few years for sc2. viewers are pretty stable.

Trolling or not… not cool. This attitude is why more people leave than return or start playing. This community is hilarious, on one hand people say they care about viewership and keeping the game alive and on the other they are like goodbye nobody will miss you. This community deserves it’s ever shrinking size.

Probably because one or two (or even a dozen) less whiny viewers don’t make a difference in the viewership or keeping the game alive. As a writer, I wouldn’t worry about the readers posting insulting and inflammatory comments, ending with “dropped.” There will always be other loyal readers or new readers coming in, and I’ll work hard to continue writing more stuff rather than worry about the vocal minority. Like why should I care about the vocal minority immature enough to throw insults at me when it’s clear that there’s a larger silent majority who continue reading my stuff? They can leave and drop my book if I want to, I’m not obligated to cater to those who clearly expressed their intention to leave. I’d rather continue writing for those who stayed, or new readers who like what my book is about.
Honestly, the majority of viewers don’t even come to the forums.

Except Maru and Inno that have equal odds, there really arent that many Terrans to be victors like Serral/Rogue/Dark add even Reynor. Already 4:2 count.
So idk how bad it is on pro for TvZ but previous balance did make pros who play Terran stop caring that much I think, cause they got tired of waiting for proper balance. And yes balance was garbage for terran since 2018 and 2019, whine was justified.

Exactly,if you want to become a pro and are not korean,you know you will get almost nothing if you chose terran.The race’s skillcap is too high that its almost impossible to reach it,and not even koreans can reach it during extended periods of time,thats why many of them suddenly stops playing on that level and disappear until they are good enough to win something.
People will deny it,but balance killed the foreigner terran,just look at stats and will see that only a couple of foreigner terran wins happened in many years,excluding south america cups which im not sure if they are premier with that level of gameplay.
Meanwhile,you see terran streams and they always looks pretty depressed,(the only ones happy are the streamers),and if you watch zerg streams they are just having fun while massing queens and banelings.

Ya, we terrans are so depressed while playing that Blizz should give us antidepressants for free each time we play a game.
If somebody plays random the procedure should be as follows:
- Zerg? Play
- Protoss? Play
- Terran? Here some medicines for you and a paid-session to Dr. Prof Goba for psychotherapy in Goba Facility!

Yep, they lost majority of viwers in HOTS to 3 hour swarmhost stalemate games. It was fun a while, but than it was every game same sh1t stalemate games 1-3 hours… People got fed up with game quickly. And in wol broodlord-infestor era…
I know it’s hard to accept that players from other races are better but sometimes it’s true. Or you could take the childish route and constantly think you’re the victim.
