I thought it was stupid to have suicide unit. What if it converted back to ling. Once Zerg win still losses because gain zero ground.
Especially not even trade since banes is one most expensive units in game.
You can balance it by how much health even 1 hp
Banelings are really really good and a great addition to SC2. Without banelings ZvZ would lose tons of dynamics.
Without Banelings it would be really tough to harass worker lines as zerg
U do know whole reason why Zerg didn’t get lurker was because they want introduce bane.
Line bane wars so annoying that’s why most Zerg go roaches.
One sucide units is bad especially since cost so much.

You don’t like the one of the units (the other is ling) that is almost universally massed in every single zerg game from diamond on up that goes to late game, regardless of build style? Why does this not surprise me.
Bane is probably one of the most used units in the game by any race. So awful it is.
most Zerg go roaches because it’s easier even though it’s worse. It’s a safer option but it’s got less potential overall than ling/bane.
The whole point post bad is bad design it’s not a good unit.
