Nah, other players have done it, especially before 2018. He might be the only person other than Reynor to beat him in the finals since then.

But Zoun a player i really dont see at all around, is OK. You blame Innovation losing to Zoun being Innovation fault but we have seen Maru losing to stupid things from Protoss too, which is why P being able to do stupid things to win is a fact. There are no higher Terrans now.

Not overrated, he achieved a lot and was a god during a time, but then he got worse, and people still followed the hype train that his name carries. Imagine Serral now gets worse and start playing like Elazer, who is good but not on that level of good, people would still hype Serral’s name.
The patchterran meme was somewhat true, during the hellbat drop meta he was unstoppable, and once it was nerfed he sink into a hole.
Same for Maru, he achieved a lot, but then his streak ended. He is still a really good player, but sometimes his gameplay is underwhelming and a lot of the time he does not play that amazing style he had on the past.

Sure Innovation whining toss OP is not conclusive of anything. He’s done that before to Zerg and Protosses in the past where he whined race OP. That being said he’s one of the best Terrans at StarCraft 2.
Maru is still insanely good though. He’s injured atm and the clowns here call him a patch Terran when he’s won 3 GSL’s in a row. I watched him offrace play as Zerg vs Dark as Terran before and god his creep spread is also disgustingly good as well. His macro skill and multitasking is definitely apparent when he plays other races.

All P players are just better than T players. also the game is 55/45 in favor of P… I mean P is beating terrans consistently at at 55/45 clip on average because they are just better.
