Ok so let me get this out of the way real quick, I know I can just post it in the related stuff of the editor but it barely got any attention, so I wondered if I post this here to possibly see that someone could help me? probably not but if you think it should be placed in the editors related section, then your probably right, but yeah just wanted to get that out of the way. here’s the original post.
So, lets say you made a map you worked on. and decided to publish it, you log on then the log in system tells you to select a character but shows a black screen… is there anyway to fix this?
Never heard of this specific issue you have, but sounds like you’re having an issue logging on. Go to file => managed published. A box should pop up and there will be a button that says ‘log on’ which, when you click it, should pop up the blizzard log in screen that you should normally get when logging in and out of sc2.
After logging in, you can close the window, then publish the map you’re wanting to upload.
Another issue you might face is naming your map. Even if it’s a private map, it can’t share the same name as another map, even if that other map is also private (which is kinda stupid imo but w/e).
