I am mostly playing 8-player maps against AIs in offline mode (having a slow internet connection online mode introduces an unbearable lag when playing against 7 AIs and I therefore have to play offline).
The respective offline “Custom” game handling UI unfortunately is total garbage (“play again” function always fails in offline mode; doesn’t keep the previous game settings as default when starting a new game; 8-player maps are at the very bottom of the list with no option to sort or filter by number of players; “map favorites” functionality isn’t available in offline mode either; etc). I havn’t seen such a ridiculously bad UI in a long time… but it seems unlikely that sh*t ever gets fixed after all these years.
As a workaround I would therefore like to remove all those built-in maps (I am NOT talking about downloaded maps!) that I don’t consider my favorites - such that they are no longer shown in the respective map selction list (offline mode!) thereby at least making the map selection process somewhat less tedious. Any ideas how that can be accomplished?
