Late game DTs are powerful since you can use them to take out a Planetary Fortress very quickly.
If the DTs are attacking any of your central bases you can use your main army. But if they attack your outlying bases you can no relocate your army fast enough.
So what is the solution?
I just tested this. A planetary plus two siege tanks defeat 8 DTs with blink, even without repair. Since 8 DTs is 16 supply it means that you can protect 3 outlying Planetary Fortresses with 2 tanks each without over investing supply in defense.
So basically DTs are strong, but not OP if you just use 2 tanks to Protect each Planetary that is too far out for you to defend in time.

Just don’t be behind in economy, every DT commitment is worth a lot of resources, DT are what Protoss do against a terran fortress when they already won
Sounds meme, but that can work, TY defeated parting heavy zealot-dt style like that.
Yesterday I think it was Uthermal, won against Maxpax on deathaura and he had mine+ tank.
And there was another game, Supernova won with mech and he defended DT-zealot runbys with mines and I think some tank too.
There is probably some strats that can work against those DT strats, it’s just T can try and see if they work, but playing with naked PFs won’t solve the issue.
