How to change replay save location?

Does anyone know how to change the default replay save location, as I use a small SSD for windows and don’t want the files clogging it up.

Thanks

From the sound of it, you have another drive you keep other stuff, such as your games. Assuming you have such a thing that you wish you put your replays on, you can simply move your documents folder.

To keep it simple and save you a few paragraphs I deleted,

  1. go to C:\users\yourUserName\
  2. right click the documents folder
  3. go to properties > location tab
  4. enter a new folder path
  5. ok or apply (not move)

From here, you can pick a new, non-existing folder location and have it automatically create the destination folder and then accept to move all your files there.

For example, I have my own customer user folder location on my game drive

G:\notTellingMyName\

When I started moving folders there, I’d go to my Desktop folder for example, properties, location, change location

I’d choose
G:\notTellingMyName\Desktop\
create folder? yes
move all files? yes

It’s as easy as that. Perhaps, if you like to sync your userfolder to some cloud, like Google, you will want to move all the folders you like, such as destkop, music, pictures, etc.

If you made it this far and decided you didn’t like the idea of moving your entire documents folder, you’ll simply have to manually move stuff that is saved after a game. I don’t advise that though.

  1. go to properties > location tab

There ain’t no location tab tho :smiling_face_with_tear:
